I’m hearing that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez might move in together. I guess J Lo asked Alex to move in her $28 million mansion in Bel Air, and he agreed. That’s what I hear. The two have barely spent a moment apart since they started dating and they’re ready to take it to the next level. Alex is bringing two children into the relationship, as is J Lo, and apparently all four children get along, so it’s going to be fun!
In related news, I’ve also heard that J Lo and A-Rod are open to doing a reality show. OMG! An insider says Jen is totally willing to try new things and her fans are everything to her, so any way she can get closer with them or bring entertainment to them would be a win.
Employees at Big Star Sandwich in Vancouver, heard that Liam Neeson was in town filming his upcoming movie Hard Powder and decided to lure the actor into their store. On Tuesday afternoon, they put up signs reading “Liam Neeson eats here for free” and “Come in and get Taken away by our sandwiches.” But they were shocked when just a few hours later, Liam actually showed up. Liam didn’t take up the workers on their free food offer because he was in a rush. However, he did make sure to take a photo with them. Big Star Sandwich has since shared the picture on their Facebook page and proudly captioned it, “Holy f**k, it worked! #LiamNeeson.”
Amy Schumer has opened up about why she always leaves such generous tips when she goes out. “It’s because it does make me feel great and I feel like I have no other choice,” she told Howard Stern in a recent radio interview. “For me, when I was living in a studio in Astoria, if somebody left me $1,000, that would change my month.” The 35-year-old comedian also attributes her generosity to working in the service industry for 10 years before becoming a huge star. “I feel fine about having money,” she noted. “I take care of my family, my friends. I think I might feel guilty about having money if I wasn’t giving.” She added, “Are people with money not doing stuff like this? I think they should do more, because you’ll feel better. And then they’ll do that for someone else, you hope.” Schumer has made headlines in the past for leaving a $1,000 tip on a $77 bar tab when she saw Hamilton on Broadway, as well as buying a $2,000 mattress for a store employee who let her use the bathroom.
Brad sat down with GQ Style for its summer issue and he spoke very openly.
First of all, a bit of the back story, Angelina filed for divorce shortly after an incident involving Brad and their son Maddox, on a private plane. While charges were never filed, the FBI did investigate child abuse allegations. Child services was also called. On that Brad says, “I was really on my back and chained to a system when Child Services was called, and you know, after that, we’ve been able to work together to sort this out. We’re both doing our best. I heard one lawyer say, ‘No one wins in court — it’s just a matter of who gets hurt worse.’ And it seems to be true, you spend a year just focused on building a case to prove your point and why you’re right and why they’re wrong, and it’s just an investment in vitriolic hatred.”
Brad told GQ that he is currently living in their Hollywood Hills home with his dog Jacques and is just trying to keep things on the up-and-up. Brad said, “Fortunately my partner in this agrees. It’s just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart. If anyone can make sense of it, we have to with great care and delicacy, building everything around that… Our focus is that everyone come out stronger and better people — there is no other outcome,” he went on saying, “I see it happen to friends — I see where the one spouse literally can’t tell their own part in it, and it’s still competing with the other in some way and wants to destroy them, and needs vindication by destruction, and just wasting years on that hatred. I don’t want to live that way.”
He admitted that he has definitely been in the wrong at times, and hopes to do better in the future for his kids saying, “I grew up with a Father-knows-best/war mentality — the father is all-powerful, super strong — instead of really knowing the man and his own self-doubt and struggles,” he said. “And it’s hit me smack in the face with our divorce: I gotta be more. I gotta be more for them. I have to show them. And I haven’t been great at it.”
Brad also admitted that he resisted the divorce, and revealed that only his love for Angelina allowed him to accept it. “The first urge is to cling on,” he said, “And then you’ve got a cliché: ‘If you love someone, set them free.’ Now I know what it means, by feeling it. It means to love without ownership. It means expecting nothing in return.
One thing that has helped Brad move forward in a positive way he said, is to quit drinking. “I was boozing too much,” he shared. “It’s just become a problem. And I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.”
He added, “Truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good.”
Hailee Steinfeld has shut down rumours that she’s dating Justin Bieber once and for all. “No I am not,” she declared when asked in a recent radio interview if she was dating Justin. “I know it’s crazy, I don’t know why people make such a big deal. We’re friends. We’ve been friends for years.” Apparently Hailee already has a boyfriend named Cameron Smoller. The two often share photos of each other on social media.
Our favourite new couple has an important new fan: mom. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd made their red-carpet debut at the Met Gala on Monday, and their sweet, affectionate way with each other was noted by all. Both shared photos taken during the event on social media.
And when the “Starboy” singer posted a shot taken on the museum steps with his 12.5 million Instagram followers, Selena’s mom’s sweet comment got fans as excited as Selena and The Weeknd’s nascent romance has. She wrote, “Glowing, smiling, looking health and equal love.” Mandy Teefey, who produced Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why with her daughter Selena, wrote. “Mama is happy XO.”
Not even Leonardo DiCaprio gets a pass for being late to a Broadway show. The Oscar-winning actor turned up just a few minutes late to the Tony-nominated production A Doll’s House, Part 2. He was promptly told he couldn’t go to his prime seat and banished in toe rear balcony of the Golden Theatre, where seats go for $59 on weeknights. An insider says that producer Scott Rudin is known for being militant about punctuality. “Rudin is very strict about late seating,” the source says. There are no exceptions.” Leo made it clear that he had no hard feelings, however, when he led the standing ovation in the balcony at the end of the performance.
Earlier this year, Drake was with J Lo , but that ended not long after Drake was spotted having dinner in Amsterdam with a French minx named Sophie Brussaux.
Sophie is a former nude model who’s also gone by the name of Rosee Divine. And now she claims Drake got her pregnant when they were fooling around in late January . . . which would make her about three and a half months along now.
She even claims to have a text conversation where he asks her to have an abortion and she refuses. So he says, “[Eff] you . . . You do know what you’re doing, you think you’re going to get money.”
Drake’s rep says he doesn’t believe the kid is his, but he’ll do the right thing if it is. He also says Sophie was having sex with another big-name rapper, and that guy has basically acknowledged that he’s the father.
In a candid cover story for Rolling Stone, Chris Rock opens up about his divorce from Malaak Compton Rock after 18 years of marriage. The comedian reveals that he cheated on his wife with three different woman–whom the publication doesn’t name, but describes as “one famous, one semifamous, and one a member of the retail class.” Chris also admits that one of his daughters has blocked him on Instagram. “Getting divorced, you have to f**king start over,” he concedes. “You get to reset. It’s not a breakdown, but something in your life broke down.” Chris goes on to say that he thought he could get away with cheating because he was the breadwinner in the family, but that he realizes now he was a “piece of s**t.” But he’s since found love with 33-year-old actress Megalyn Echikunwoke and likes that she makes her own money. “’She’s got her own dough, it’s amazing,” he declares. However, don’t expect the couple to ever tie the knot. “Would I ever get married again?” Chris muses. “Not if it could cure AIDs.”
Rumours about the health of both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip began circulating last night after the entire royal staff was called into an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace. “Although meetings involving the entire royal household are occasionally called, the way this has been done at the eleventh hour is highly unusual and suggests that there is something major to be disseminated,” an staffer tells The Daily Mail. “But at the moment, only those closest to her genuinely know what on earth this is all about.” Staff from royal residences such as Windsor Castle and Sandringham were asked to come in, as well as those from as far as Balmoral in Scotland. While Buckingham Palace declined to comment, the 91-year-old Queen was spotted earlier in the day en route to meet with Prime Minster Theresa May.
A business manager who stole more than $7 million from Alanis Morissette and others was sentenced yesterday to six years in federal prison and ordered to pay $8.6 million in restitution. Jonathan Todd Schwartz, 47, wept and apologized at the hearing, saying he took full responsibility for his behavior and would have a life of shame because of it. “I alone am responsible for the devastation,” he said, adding: “I will spend the rest of my life asking for forgiveness.” He could have faced more than 20 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to wire fraud and tax crimes but Judge Dolly Gee stuck to sentencing guidelines that suggested around five to six years. In a victim statement at the hearing, Alanis had urged a stiff sentence, saying Schwartz had stolen her trust and her money for years. Schwartz acknowledged stealing nearly $5 million from Alanis between May 2010 and January 2014 and more than $2 million from five unnamed clients when he worked at GSO Business Management, a firm that touted relationships with entertainers such as Katy Perry, 50 Cent and Tom Petty.
