Adele is under fire after announcing that she is canceling the rest of her 2017 tour. She released a statement on Friday explaining that she has damaged her vocal chords and advised by her doctor to take a break. She wrote, “To say I’m heart broken would be a complete understatement. I’m sorry for your disappointment. I’m sorry for the nights you would have had with your loved ones and the memories you would have made together. I’m sorry for the time and money you’ve spent organizing your trips. You know I would not make this decision lightly… I’m sorry. I love you. I’m so sorry, please forgive me.” The news, which came just one day after Adele admitted that she was considering never touring again, was met with fury. Fans slammed the singer on Twitter. One wrote, “She has been rather greedy and rather overrated. Boring songs which she shouts out… no wonder her voice broke.”
Kelly Clarkson took to Twitter on the Fourth of July to shut down a fat-shamer. Kelly first tweeted a patriotic message that read, “Thank you to every person in service for protecting all of us and cheers to every person who fought for us to experience freedom & independence.” When a user named @Euger23 replied by telling Kelly, “You’re fat,” the singer responded with the note, “…And still f**king awesome.” While a number of Kelly’s fans immediately confronted the person, the troll then directed his insults towards them.

Kylie Jenner has unveiled a new ankle tattoo that replaces the lowercase “t” she previously rocked as a nod to her ex-boyfriend Tyga. Kylie’s new tattoo reads “L.A.” (also in lowercase typeface) thanks to a bit of inking handiwork. Kylie and Tyga were first linked in the fall of 2014, though they did not confirm their relationship until March 2015. Following a series of breaks, the pair decided to end their relationship for good in April following three years of dating. Kylie has most recently been linked to rapper Travis Scott, though it was reported last week that they have also called it quits.
Ed Sheeran can’t look at Twitter anymore, and Lady Gaga’s fans might be to blame. In an interview the other day, he said, “I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. One comment ruins your day.”
What happened was, Gaga’s fans heard something Ed had said earlier this year, and they thought it was an attack on her. So they’ve been bullying him ever since. But he swears he wasn’t talking about her.
In that interview, Ed was talking about not wanting to mess up his career by letting success get to his head and thinking he knows everything.
He said, “The smartest thing to do is listen to people who know I do not want to do the Super Bowl years later, after my biggest success, just to prove I’m still relevant.”
Luckily, Gaga has Ed’s back, because she posted a picture of them together and said, “I wish all people on the internet would be positive and loving and a part of creating an online community that is kind and empowering, not hateful and mean.”
Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have well-documented financial issues, but that didn’t stop them from throwing an epic party for their daughter Stella’s ninth birthday over the weekend.
The unicorn-themed bash was held at their L.A. home. Activities included face painting, pony rides, piñatas and elaborate birthday cakes. Guests included 90210 alum Jennie Garth, Tori’s mother Candy, brother Randy and other friends and family.
Tori and Dean are reportedly being sued by both American Express and City National Banks for hundreds of thousands of dollars. They also reportedly owe quite a bit of money to the IRS.
Damon Wayans Jr. celebrated Independence Day by Tweeting, “Happy White-People-Proud-Of-Their-Racist-Ancestors Day.”
Naturally, he took some heat for that. And he later Tweeted, “Yes, it was a joke . . . some took [it] too personally. So what. Jokes aren’t illegal . . . but feel free to be offended by it.”
Emily Ratajkowski’s big break was being the girl with the big boobs in Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” video, but there is a problem with that. Emily says her boobs are preventing her from getting work in Hollywood. She says she hasn’t gotten work because she’s been told she is too sexy. She says, “It’s like an anti-woman thing, that people don’t want to work with me because my boobs are too big. What’s wrong with boobs? They’re a beautiful feminine thing that needs to be celebrated. Like, who cares?” She went on saying, “They are great big, they are great small. Why should that be an issue?”
Venus Williams was asked about the fatal car accident she caused during her Wimbledon press conference on Monday, and naturally, she got emotional.
She said, “There are really no words to describe, like, how devastating . . . I’ve been completely speechless.” Then she sat there for over a minute trying to pull herself together.
But she couldn’t. She started crying, said “Maybe I should go,” and got up and left.
Last month, Venus drove into an intersection in Florida, and another car hit her. A 78-year-old man in that car ended up dying from head trauma.
By the way, Venus won her first-round match on Monday. And she also got in hot water for wearing a pink bra under her shirt. Apparently, that’s a violation of Wimbledon’s strict all-white dress code. It doesn’t sound like she’ll be punished or anything though.
Kesha may be releasing new music this week. There’s a rumour going around that the 30-year-old will be releasing a new song titled “Praying” on July 7th. She shared a teaser on social media that indicates the song might be the first single from a new album. She shared a photo of her looking out to the ocean from the beach at twilight. Another photo has “Praying” on it, and is captioned: “Honestly can’t wait for Praying to come out #kesha #praying”
