John Stamos celebrated his birthday in his birthday suit. He shared a photo of himself in an outdoor shower (bare bum visible), captioning it: “#54 and clean. Thanks for the birthday wishes!”
By “clean” The Fuller House star may have also been referring to his sobriety. After getting a DUI in 2015, he checked himself into rehab and says he feels better now than he had in a decade.
Britney Spears had a few things to get off her chest during a recent show in Las Vegas. Brit stopped her show, grabbed a handheld microphone and chatted with the audience saying, “The press and the media my whole life, because one minute they tear you down, they’re really horrible, and the next minute, you’re on top of the world,” she explained to the audience. “But, I’ve never really spoke about [it], you know? And I’m a southern girl, I’m from Louisiana. I’m from the south, and I like to keep it real. And I just want to make sure I keep having you motherf***ers something to talk about, OK?” Then she launched into a cover of Bonnie Raitt’s 1991 hit, “Something to Talk About.” And guess what?! She was REALLY singing!
Britney Spears’ Vegas show, Britney: Piece of Me, has just 18 more shows at Las Vegas’ Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, including the last performance on December 31st.
Katy Perry has dropped the trailer for her upcoming music video for her hit song “Swish Swish.” The 54-second basketball-themed clip (directed by Dave Meyers), follows a battle between two basketball teams – “the Sheep” and “the Tigers” – and is described as ”the hottest mess in history.”
Tons of celebs are making cameos in the video, including Saturday Night Live alum Molly Shannon… and…well, others who aren’t as famous.
Katy was scheduled to kick off her Witness tour on September 7th, but she recently announced that due to production complications, the tour would need to be pushed back. The tour will now commence on September 19th at the Bell Centre in Montreal.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan was featured in The Hollywood Reporter to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. All of the ladies promoted the cover story heavily on social media.
Kendall Jenner took to Twitter, uploading a pic of the cover and captioning it: “sister power…girl power,” along with a medium skin-tone fist-bump emoji.
Well, critics emerged immediately. One user wrote: “Y’all are not black. Next time use a white emoji,” while another tweeted: “Kendall & Kylie are worst of the Jenners & Kardashians. REALLY KENDALL?! You’re white. Not black. Use the correct emoji. Stop f–king up.”
Kendall has had a rough go lately. Two weeks ago, she was called out for not tipping her bartender (she claims she tipped in cash). Shortly before that, she and her sister Kylie got blasted for a line of vintage t-shirts they created with their images overlaid on top of rock and rap icons.
Earlier this year, Kendall appeared in a tone-deaf Pepsi commercial that was pulled after just a day. Many saw it as a co-opting of the Black Lives Matter movement, and ever since, critics have been laser-focused on what they see as her appropriation of black culture.
Three days after going dark on social media, Taylor Swift reopened her accounts Monday morning. She shared a mysterious 10-second video. The distorted, silent clip appears to depict a snake tail, though some social media users also compared the image to a cat or dragon tail. There was no caption to the image.
A new website has also been created called Timeless.com. All it says is “Timeless, coming soon.”
Speculation is swirling that Taylor is preparing to release her sixth studio album and first full-length record since 2014’s massive 1989.
The rumour is that Taylor will be releasing her new song THIS Friday!
Kesha has just topped the Billboard 200 albums chart with her first album in five years, Rainbow, which was released on August 11th. Rainbow scores the second-largest week for an album by a woman in 2017 in terms of both units and sales.
Despite reports to the contrary, Blac Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom claims she and estranged fiancé Rob Kardashian are not in the midst of a dramatic custody battle.
Bloom says, “Chyna and Rob are peacefully co-parenting baby Dream, as they have been since her birth.”
While a custody hearing is not currently on the docks for next month, there will be a hearing on the domestic violence restraining order she requested for Chyna in July.
That hearing is scheduled for September 18th. She placed the order after Kardashian went on a social media tirade against Chyna, posting nude photographs of her and accusing her of infidelity and drug use, before being temporarily kicked off of both Instagram and Twitter for the graphic nature of his posts.
While Bloom claims the estranged duo is in harmony on Dream, it’s clear that they clash on other issues.
“We intend to aggressively defend Chyna’s rights at that hearing because Rob’s vicious social media attacks on Chyna are a form of domestic abuse, as the judge has already ruled in our temporary restraining order hearing. I believe we will have a second court victory on that day and obtain permanent restraining orders against Rob, who has yet to take responsibility for his illegal, shameful behavior toward the mother of his child.
Actress Margot Robbie, looks unrecognizable on the set of the upcoming film Mary Queen of Scots. Margot plays the Queen—her head looks partially shaved, she has red, curly hair, her skin (which is normally flawless) appears blotchy and pock-marked…it’s really something! The movie also stars Taylor Swift’s new man, Joe Alwyn.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard prove again and again that their love defies the odds. But Kristen said recently in an interview that they have had their share of trials and tribulations: “We were dating for about three months, and I already knew that I was in love with him.” Dax? Not so much, she says: “he was hesitant because he knew he was still dating other people.” While an emotional gap of that magnitude may have iced many a relationship, Dax soon came crawling back, telling her “I don’t know what I was thinking.” The pair tied the knot in 2013, after vowing to not marry until gay marriage was legal. Now, they share two daughters, Delta Bell Shepard, 2, and Lincoln Shepard, 4.
