Suits actress Meghan Markle and her boyfriend of more than a year, Prince Harry, appeared in public for the first time in an official, royal capacity. Meghan was all smiles as she cheered on her Prince at the Invictus Games in Toronto, which run through September 30th. Last month, the couple got away for the weekend at Queen Elizabeth II’s Scottish highlands estate. Meghan was rumoured to have met the Queen awhile she was there.
In related news, Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson is behind a new divorce comedy about a man who loses his wife to a British royal. Here’s how the comedy is summed up: “Divorce is hard. Sharing custody is harder. Sharing custody with the British royal family in the unforgiving spotlight of London’s tabloid media is next level.” The show’s creators have come forward and said the show is fictional and the lead character is not based on Meghan.
In case you’ve been hiding under a rock all weekend: 20-year-old Kylie Jenner is reportedly pregnant with her first child.
From what I’ve heard, she is due in February and rapper Travis Scott is the father. The baby is rumoured to be a girl.
Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner braved the crowds on Saturday at Milan Fashion Week, telling reporters that she was surprised to wake up in Milan to her daughter’s reported pregnancy but that “It wouldn’t be the family if something didn’t happen every single day.”
Jenner was out to support supermodel daughter Kendall, and when another publication asked her about the news, she didn’t address it directly, but did say, “You never know what is going to break at any moment.”
In related news, the ladies of the Kardashian-Jenner family (and Scott Disick) sat down with Ryan Seacrest last night to celebrate 10 years of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Here are some of the biggest reveals made during the anniversary special:
In a pre-taped segment, Kourtney dressed up in an undercover disguise to interview people on the streets of Hollywood about Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She got people to diss her sisters, and found a fan who described her as the “hottest” sister.
In a never-before-seen clip, Kris was shown sobbing with tears streaming down her face before telling the crew she needed a break. “If I remember correctly, one of the camera guys started crying. It was rough,” Kris recalls of filming during Caitlyn’s transition. “That was a rough day.”
Kim revealed that she thought she suffered a miscarriage while pregnant with North. “And then I went in [to the doctor] that morning and he’s like, ‘There’s a heartbeat! You didn’t have a miscarriage!'” she said of the scary moment.
We also learned that Kendall regularly silences the family text conversations, saying, “You guys are so annoying sometimes.”
And finally, at one point, Kim dropped her jaw because Scott claimed he doesn’t “date” other women. Right…
Kevin Hart, who has been dealing with a cheating scandal, brought his personal life into his standup act on Saturday in Atlanta. At the end of his set he told the audience that he was going through some drama and said, “The best thing to have when you’re going through drama is a [G-D] support group . . . I say thank you from the bottom of my heart . . . and in this particular case guys, I promise you I’m gonna come out a better man.”
Meanwhile, I hear that Kevin is planning to purchase a $250,000 push present for his pregnant wife Eniko. According to my source, Kevin is determined to prove to his wife that he loves her and wants their relationship to last.
And finally, it looks like Kevin Hart’s alleged mistress, Montia Sabbag, has an official adult entertainment license in Nevada which allows her to work at any gentlemen’s club. During her press conference last week, she denied being a stripper, but video has since surfaced of Montia dancing at a gentlemen’s club in Boston.
Jennifer Lopez is donating $1 million to Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico. J-Lo parents are Puerto Rican. Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico last Wednesday, and is the strongest hurricane to hit the island since 1932.
Meanwhile, Shawn Mendes has donated $100,000 to the Mexican earthquake relief fund after barely escaping the 7.1 magnitude quake near Mexico City last week. He was in Mexico ahead of a planned concert in the capital. He felt the rumble, but admits it took him about 30 seconds to clue in that it was an earthquake. Thankfully, he was able to make it down to the street safely.
Fergie broke down in tears during a live interview on Friday’s episode of TODAY. But, before you go there, they weren’t sad tears over her split from Josh Duhamel, they were actually happy tears! She was told on the show that her new album Double Dutchess, was #1 on the iTunes album chart…that made her so happy that she started tearing.
After a rough few months of highly-publicized problems that included a DUI arrest, Aaron Carter is seeking professional help. His rep says Aaron has decided to enter a facility to improve his health and work on his overall wellness. The news comes after police were summoned to Aaron’s home for a last Thursday after a concerned neighbor contacted authorities, telling them he was slurring, did not make sense, and that his skin colour was off.
It’s been four months since ABC announced that they’re bringing “American Idol” back, and that Katy Perry will be the lead judge. And now, they’ve finally secured Judge #2. According to my source, Country star, Luke Bryan has finally agreed to terms.
There’s still no word on a third judge, but filming is set to begin in a week . . . so they’re really under the gun.
