Miley Cyrus celebrated Liam Hemsworth’s birthday in a big way! Miley flew into Byron Bay, on the New South Wales coast of Australia, to spend time with her fiancé, who turned 28 on January 13th. Miley took to her Instagram to share a collage of photos of Liam and herself, and added a short but sweet note. “Happiest birthday to my very best friend on the entire planet! I ❤️ u!” Miley captioned the photos. Meanwhile – on to the BIG news…if it’s real. Rumour has it that Miley and Liam got married in secret during the trip. The reports come after the couple were spotted wearing bands on their ring fingers. The couple called off their first engagement in 2013, but rekindled their romance in January 2016.
On January 22nd, Minnie Mouse will earn a long-overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Katy Perry will be on hand to present the honor. Katy is a huge Minnie fan. She says the day will be a childhood and adult dream come true for her.
Minnie’s counterpart Mickey earned a star 40 years ago in 1978, while other Disney characters like Snow White and Tinker Bell also have stars of their own. So, it’s about time that Minnie joined the club.
Following months of romance rumours, it looks like Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have decided to make their relationship public. The 28-year-old actress and 40-year-old Coldplay frontman were photographed laughing over a dinner date at Soho House in Malibu on Saturday. They arrived and left together in Chris’ car. My source tells me they’ve been dating since early October, but up until this weekend they have been spending most of their time together laying low at his place. (And cause I know you’re curious, Chris is 40 and Dakota is 28.)
Mark Wahlberg is donating the $1.5 million he received from reshoots of All the Money in the World to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in his co-star Michelle Williams’ name. Mark revealed his intent on Saturday, several days after it was made public that Michelle only received $1,000 per day for the same reshoots as Mark. WME, the agency that represents both actors, is also donating an additional $500,000. Of the donation Michelle said, “Today isn’t about me, my fellow actresses stood by me and stood up for me, my activist friends taught me to use my voice, and the most powerful men in charge, they listened and they acted.” She added, “If we truly envision an equal world, it takes equal effort and sacrifice. Today is one of the most indelible days of my life because of Mark Wahlberg, WME and a community of women and men who share in this accomplishment.”
Scott Disick and Sofia Richie took their romance to the beach this weekend. The 34-year-old reality star shared an Instagram photo of his 19-year-old girlfriend in a tiny black bikini by the ocean and captioned it, “Water.” (So deep.) Meanwhile, Sofia shared a photo of the two hiking and wearing what appeared to be zip-lining harnesses. The couple has been going strong for several months and recently rang in 2018 together in Aspen.
Gigi Hadid celebrated her boyfriend Zayn Malik’s 25th birthday this weekend. Of course, it didn’t happen if it wasn’t on Instagram so, Gigi posted a series of videos and pictures of the two of them. The caption read: “Love this man more than I could ever put into words, and am inspired by his drive to be and do better everyday.”
Gigi and Zayn celebrated their two-year anniversary in November 2017.
Well, at least she has some self awareness. Lindsay Lohan admits that she’s gotten a bit aggressive when it comes to pitching a Mean Girls sequel to Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels. She says, “I’ve harassed [them] so many times, it’s becoming a bit stalker-ish,” Lindsay goes on to explain, however, that the Mean Girls creators are busy working on the musical adaptation of the film–which starts previews on Broadway in March.
There have been plenty of rumours about Selena Gomez’s family being disappointed that she’s back with Justin Bieber. Now there’s PROOF.
In a new interview, Selena’s mom Mandy Teefey said she’s, “not happy” they’re back together. But she added, “Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy.”
That “healthy” part is particularly important, due to Selena’s lupus, and her kidney transplant over the summer. Mandy said, “When you are young, you feel invincible and she had to learn that she was not able to be your typical 20 year old.”
Could taking Justin back be detrimental to Selena’s health? If it is, Mandy can’t do anything about it. “She is 25 years old and knows what is at stake with her health. I do not control her the way it has been portrayed. Selena is an adult and can make her own choices.”
Chris Brown could be in serious legal hot water for having a baby capuchin monkey named Fiji without a permit. It all started back in December, when Chris posted a photo of his 3-year-old daughter, Royalty, beaming and holding Fiji. Turns out, people were concerned enough for Royalty’s safety that Chris was reported to the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. He surrendered the pet, but he could still face a misdemeanor charge of having a restricted species without a permit, which carries a maximum of six months in jail. Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, was not amused. “As I leave my office in Downtown L.A. and walk past people sleeping on the street on my way to defend people charged by the City Attorney with selling medical marijuana,” he tells TMZ, “now spending taxpayer money on investigating monkey business. This completes the circle on his absurdity.” The case is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney.
