Mariah Carey celebrated her 48th birthday at Disneyland on Tuesday and shared a super awkward video from the celebration that shows us all, she is still the diva we know and love. In the clip Mariah kinda nudges her 6-year-old son Moroccan out of the way so she can blow out the candles on her cake. She also ignores him as he leans in to kiss her, and instead smiles and speaks to the camera. “Happy anniversary darling,” she says, seemingly referring to herself, as she blows a kiss. Mariah famously avoids saying her age and says she has anniversaries, not birthdays.
Tyra Banks has revealed that she had a nose job at the start of her career. The Queen of smizing says, “Natural beauty is unfair. I get really uncomfortable when women who are these natural beauties judge anybody who does anything to themselves… Fix it or flaunt it. I think women should be able to do both.”
How does Halle Berry look better at 51 than most women half her age? Her personal trainer Peter Lee Thomas she keeps a checklist of things she wants to improve about her physique and exercises five days a week. Her workouts include kickboxing, weight lifting, sprints, and a lot of push-ups. Halle also eats a low-carb, low-sugar diet that’s high in fats and protein. Peter says, “I have never met anybody that works harder and trains harder and is just so resilient. She is getting faster, stronger and becoming more athletic. I’ve never met another person who can do it like her.”
G-Eazy used a rather clever trick to get through airport security after losing his I.D. Billboard reports that the rapper’s girlfriend, Halsey, exposed his ruse via Twitter early Wednesday. “Gerald lost his ID and he’s trying to use the cover of @XXL as part of his additional identification to get through airport security,” she tweeted. “I’m so annoyed.” Believe it or not, however, G-Eazy’s quick thinking paid off: “It worked,” he tweeted about 40 minutes later.
The female fan who broke her retainer while thirsting over Michael B. Jordan’s hot bod has declined his offer to pay for it. “I talked to her through DM a few times. I offered to pay for it and she graciously declined a couple times,” Michael says. “She just said it would totally be worth it if she got a chance to meet me one day if I was ever in the Bay [Area], and that she would love to take a picture with me.” Michael goes on to explain that he’s still trying to figure out a way to surprise her, adding, “It was a pretty funny story. [I] definitely want to do something to help her out.” The fan went viral after her orthodontist shared a post on Tumblr about her retainer breaking–which happened because she was clenching her teeth after seeing Jordan go shirtless in Black Panther.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez, who recently celebrated their 1-year anniversary, have dropped $15.3 million on an apartment together in New York City. The 4,000 square foot property sits at 432 Park Avenue, the world’s tallest residential tower. It boasts three bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and sweeping views of both the city and Central Park. J-Lo and A-Rod will also have access to amenities like an indoor swimming pool, a fitness center, a private restaurant, and a screening/ performance venue.
In the wee hours of the morning J-Lo posted a shot of herself and Alex… she was working and he was right there with her. The caption read: “On the set at 2:30am #whenyouknowhegotyou”
All good things must come to an end. I’m sorry to tell you that the upcoming sixth “Sharknado” will be the last. It’ll air this summer on Syfy.
“Sharknado 2” was the highest-rated of the bunch, with 3.9 million viewers, but Part 5 only attracted 1.89 million.
If you’ve been keeping up with the series, then you know that it ended with Fin . . . played by Ian Ziering . . . embarking on a time-travel adventure with his son, who’s actually older than him and played by Dolph Lundren.
And that’s where Part 6 will pick up. There’s no word on plot details, except that the movie will include Nazis, dinosaurs, knights, and Noah’s Ark.
Coming up with Josie and the City, everyone who grew up with the cast of Dawson’s Creek was losing their minds yesterday, I’ll tell you why at 8:40.
There’s talk that The Weeknd might put out a new album today. He recently posted a screen-shot of a text conversation, where he says, “Should we drop Friday? I’m indifferent to be honest.”
The timing would be good, because he’s headlining Coachella next month alongside Beyoncé and Eminem. And he wouldn’t have a ton of competition . . . Rich the Kid is putting out his debut album, but that’s pretty much it.
To commemorate the show’s 20th anniversary, the cast of the beloved ’90s teen drama Dawson’s Creek has reunited for a video interview and a photo on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. All four stars–James Van Der Beek, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Williams, and Katie Holmes–participated in the reunion of the show, which is still beloved today. “When something affects you while you were growing up, it kind of stays in there forever,” Williams says. “When you’re so permeable and open and trying to figure out who you are and what’s going on, whatever reaches you in those moments really becomes part of you.” The issue hits newsstands on Friday.
Fans had zero cool over the Dawson’s Creek 20th anniversary reunion. Entertainment Weekly got the crew together for a cover shoot… it definitely stirred up people’s hopes of a reboot.
The cast; Katie Holmes (Joey Potter), James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter), Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley), Busy Philipps (Audrey Liddell), Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee), Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee), and Mary Beth Peil (Evelyn “Grams” Ryan), sat down for EW’s cover story and video reunion. That said, it seems like all eyes were on Joey and Pacey. Several fans zeroed in on shots of them, with one tweeting, “She’s touching him” and another tweeting, “I thought I was over my high school obsession with #DawsonsCreek … then I saw this GIF of Pacey & Joey and my heart exploded.”
Travis Scott has been hit with a lawsuit for skipping a scheduled appearance after Kylie Jenner gave birth to his daughter Stormi Webster. According to documents, event promoter PJAM LLC says they paid Travis $150,000 of a $200,000 fee to perform at Myth Live in Minnesota on February 3, the night before the Super Bowl. His agent also allegedly received a $10,000 booking fee and had arranged for a private jet to fly Travis to the venue. PJAM further claims that Travis “refused to show up to the event” on the scheduled date. While the rapper blamed his absence on the weather, it was later revealed that Kylie gave birth two days before on February 1. PJAM says they’ve suffered “reputational harm” after failing to deliver a performance by Travis as advertised.
