A reporter at CNN investigated Morgan Freeman after he allegedly made inappropriate comments to her. And if what she uncovered is true, he has a history of inappropriate behavior.
She found eight women claiming to be victims, and many more who claim to have witnessed his actions first hand.
During the filming of the movie “Going In Style” a few years ago, a production assistant says Morgan kept asking her if she was wearing underwear and trying to lift her skirt.
She says it was so bad, his co-star Alan Arkin told him to stop . . . and Morgan, allegedly “got freaked out and didn’t know what to say.”
Some women said they even dressed down when they knew they were going to see Morgan, so he wouldn’t leer at them or say anything gross.
Morgan responded to CNN’s report with the following statement, “Anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy.
“I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected . . . that was never my intent.” (You just totally read that in Morgan Freeman’s voice, didn’t you?)
There’s already been some fallout over this… he’s lost one of his voice-over gigs: VISA is suspending all marketing using his voice. As did Vancouver’s public transportation system – they used his voice for their announcements.
Okay, this is the best… Busy Philipps and Michelle Williams have been friends since their Dawson’s Creek days… so, a long time. Well, Busy recently underwent surgery to treat her sinus problems and her BFF Michelle couldn’t be there… so she sent the next best thing… a life-size cutout of herself. Busy shared a photo on Instagram writing, “…It’s so hilarious and also keeps scaring me when I come into the room, which is also kind of hilarious. Truly one of the best gifts I’ve ever gotten.”
Kim Kardashian celebrated her fourth anniversary with Kanye West on Thursday by sharing a never-before-seen pic from their wedding day. “Four years down and forever to go,” Kim wrote alongside the snap, which shows a tuxedoed Kanye giving the camera a sultry stare while Kim closes her eyes and leans against him. “Thank you babe for giving me our family and caring so much about us. Thank you for inspiring me on a daily. I’m so lucky. I can’t wait for forever. Happy anniversary.”
Meghan Markle’s best friends are still calling her Meg and not the Dutchess of Sussex. Her longtime makeup artist, Daniel Martin, says “I asked her that. ‘Do I bow to you? I don’t want to disrespect you, but I’ve known for almost ten years. What’s up?’ She started laughing and she said, ‘I’m always going to be Meg. Meg.’ But next time I see them I will be respectful and know my protocol. But Meg is always going to be Meg, that’s how it is!”
Yesterday I told you that Bella Hadid told The Weeknd that he had to take Selena Gomez off his Instagram. Today I’m hearing that he is reportedly avoiding Selena in order to keep things smooth in his rekindled romance with Bella. I’m told Bella isn’t holding a grudge, but she doesn’t need or want to be reminded about Selena and The Weeknd‘s time together.
A day after Ariana Grande opened up about her “toxic” relationship with ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, Pete Davidson has defended their rumored romance–which some critics have called equally troubling. He wrote on Insta: “Normally I wouldn’t comment on something like this cause like, f**k you, but I’ve been hearing a lot of ‘people with [borderline 0=”personality” 1=”disorder”] can’t be in relationships’ talk. I just wanna let you know that’s not true.” He continued, “Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can’t be happy and in a relationship. It also doesn’t mean that person makes a relationship toxic.” Pete revealed last year that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. He said at the time that seeking professional help for his mental illness had “changed [his] life for the better.” For those of you who are unsure what borderline personality disorder is… because I was, it is a mental illness marked by an ongoing pattern of varying moods, self-image, and behavior. These symptoms often result in impulsive actions and problems in relationships. People with borderline personality disorder may experience intense episodes of anger, depression, and anxiety that can last from a few hours to days.
