Oprah Winfrey recently suffered a health scare. She says she “Turned to get a pinch of salt and noticed a bit of soreness in my neck. In the mirror, I could see it was swollen. By the time I finished making breakfast, the swelling had increased. It looked like a goiter that had come out of nowhere. I immediately Googled ‘swollen lymph gland causes.’ None of the results was good. For the next four hours, I thought the worst, “When I finally opened my mouth to say ‘ahhh,’ I was prepared for the doctor to say, ‘I’m so sorry, Ms. Winfrey, you have [insert 0=”terrible” 1=”disease”].’ What she actually said was, ‘I think your salivary glands are blocked. Go home, drink plenty of water, and try sucking on some lemons to stimulate your salivary ducts.'”
Jennifer Aniston is apparently addicted to boxing. My source says Jen works up a sweat boxing six days a week for 45 minutes to two hours, depending on how her day is looking. She’s working muscles she’s never worked before and she’s really trimmed down. She’s stronger, too, and her stamina has improved. She doesn’t feel that she needs a man to complete her. She feels lucky to have her friends, her work, her dogs — and her boxing! After being in a relationship for so long, she’s finally able to focus on herself, and she truly feels fulfilled.”
Priyanka Chopra has revealed that she gave fiance Nick Jonas some subtle guidance on picking her engagement ring. “Well, I may have dropped that hint,” she admits to People. “I think we had a conversation about it when we were dating and I’ve always known it had to be Tiffany.” She continues, “I just knew it since I was a kid. First, it wasBreakfast at Tiffany’s that did it for every girl in the world and then, of course, Sweet Home Alabama came and put a stamp on it that it has to be Tiffany!” Chopra went on to note that she wasn’t with Jonas when he picked out her ring. “He and his brothers went and did a whole thing to buy the ring for his future wife,” she explains.
This should be interesting: Kanye West will have lunch with President Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner at the White House tomorrow.
Kanye wants to talk about increasing the number of manufacturing jobs in his native Chicago, as well as more job opportunities for former convicts.
Jared has been working on overhauling the criminal justice system, and he was present during Trump’s meeting with Kim Kardashian, in which she convinced the president to commute the life sentence of Alice Johnson.
Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory would be fine if her husband left her tomorrow.
Kaley and her husband Karl Cook have only been married three months . . . and she’s already talking about how she doesn’t need him. Financially speaking, that is.
She says, “I like knowing that I’m set, because I’ve taken it upon myself to do that. I like to tell my friends, ‘Always make sure you have your life going, and that you’re number one . . .
“I don’t need Karl for anything. If Karl left me tomorrow, I’d be fine. And he knows that, and he would be fine too.”
It isn’t easy for Cardi B to ignore the cheating rumors involving her husband Offset. In fact, she says, “It almost drives me crazy, because I start to believe them.
“I don’t have no proof. I don’t have receipts. But I just got to know my man.”
She adds, “I cannot be feeling insecure, to a point that I would drive my dude away, because these people want that to happen.”
The Weeknd marked girlfriend Bella Hadid’s 22nd birthday on Tuesday by Instagramming several sexy pics of them kissing. “Happy birthday, Angel,” he wrote alongside the snaps, which include a photo of them singing karaoke together, one that shows her kissing his cheek at a restaurant and another that shows him leaning over her as she reclines in a bathtub full of rose petals. The artist also included a video of the pair kissing at a bar after it looks like they noticed that were being filmed by a paparazzo. The couple broke up in November 2016 after a year-and-a-half of dating, but reunited this spring after the end of his 10-month relationship with Selena Gomez.
In your “Wildest Dreams,” did you ever think a pop star could set a new record for voter registration? That’s exactly what happened after Taylor Swift took to Instagram on Sunday to endorse two Democratic candidates running for office in Tennessee and to encourage her followers to register to vote. BuzzFeed reports that in the first 24 hours after Swift’s post, more than 65,000 people registered to vote via Vote.org. That eclipses the 56,669 new voters who registered nationwide in the entire month of August. Adds Vote.org communications director Kamari Guthrie, “Vote.org saw [Tennessee] registrations spike specifically since Taylor’s post…Thank God for Taylor Swift.”
