Michael B Jordan says he had a hard time getting into fighting shape for ”Creed 2” because of his love for cheesesteaks. “We shot in Philly, so I think a Philly cheesesteak was my go-to cheat meal. I wanted to lean out a lot for this one, so do a lot of cardio. I lifted weights, I boxed, I swam. I just wanted to keep that fluidity. I wanted to look like a fighter. Coming off Black Panther, I was more of a soldier. This one I kinda wanted to look more like a fighter.”
After news broke that Rob Kardashian asked a court to reduce his $20,000-a-month child support payments to baby mama Blac Chyna, you may be wondering just how broke Rob is. Well, here ya go: “As of January 17, 2018, I am short nearly $300,000, which my accountant projects I will need to pay for my 2017 tax liabilities,” 31-year-old Rob wrote in legal documents back in February, according to Us Weeklyand The Blast. “I no longer own a home. I now live in my mother’s home.” Adding insult to injury, his sock company, Arthur George, has only decreased in value. Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle platform ‘Goop’ could be heading to Netflix. She has reportedly held early talks to land her own series, which would be based on her multi-million-dollar lifestyle brand. An insider says that a deal has been discussed, but both Goop and Netflix have chosen not to confirm the report. Keep in mind, in September, Paltrow publicly revealed her hopes for Goop to land a ”wellness” discussion-style TV show.
Demi Lovato seems to be on the outs with at least three of her showbiz friends. Demi has unfollowed Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea on Instagram. Now Nick still follows Demi on the platform, and Demi still follows the rest of the Jonas brother including ex-boyfriend Joe. Meanwhile, it seems Iggy is no longer following Demi. As for what may have prompted Demi’s purge, well, after a Demi fan slammed the singer’s team as “rotten,” Demi replied, “True friends don’t do interviews about you when you OD.”
Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean has “relapsed over the past year” – he says his sobriety is a daily struggle. In fact, in a recent interview he said, “You know, it’s interesting about sobriety with family and with kids–you still have to put yourself first, and that’s been a real big struggle for me,” he continued, “if you put your kids first too often, then you forget about taking care of yourself, and you do tend to get lost in the sauce. And that’s happened to me numerous times.” AJ has been in rehab three times in the past for depression and issues with alcohol.
Kim Kardashian admitted on Wednesday’s Ellen that husband Kanye West isn’t the biggest fan of her super-sexy, semi-nude social media pics. “He always wants me to be me and feel confident, and we’re having fun, but it also bothers him,” the 38-year-old mother of three explained. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘OK, I’ll be more conservative on my Instagram.’ And sometimes I really have to get something out if I’m feeling good about myself or I’ve been working out really hard. And then I’ll post something and he’ll get upset. Then we’ll just, you know…it’s a cycle.” Ellen also asked about a pic Kim posted back in August that showed her baking brownies in her undies. “That outfit I probably had under sweats, but sometimes you gotta do some things for the ‘gram—for Instagram,” Kim said. “You know, we do little impromptu photo shoots just for Instagram—but I wasn’t walking around baking like that.”
If you doubt the sincerity of David Arquette’s return to pro wrestling, then you need to see what happened to him last Friday night.
David was in a match against a guy named David Gage at some cheesy indie event. It was a “death match”, which basically means no rules, multiple weapons, and lots of blood.
Those weapons included chairs, fluorescent light tubes, and even a pizza cutter. When Gage smashed one of the light tubes over David’s head, it opened a pretty serious cut on his neck.
David got on top of Gage, but put his hand to his neck and held it there. Then he got up and left the ring. Apparently, he decided that the show must go on, because he got back in.
At that point, it almost looked like he was trying to turn the match into a real fight, but Gage flipped him to the mat and pinned him. David didn’t even try to get out of it, and the ref counted three.
As soon as he lost, though, David just got up and left . . . his hand still to his neck.
After the match he Tweeted, “Thank you to all the fans for your love. I’m [all] stitched up.” He also Tweeted, “Turns out death matches aren’t my thing.”
