The other day while vacationing in St. Tropez Simon Cowell came to the rescue of nine people on a sinking boat.   Simon was on his yacht with his ex-girlfriend, a British singer who goes by the name Sinitta when they got a distress call from another boat that was sinking.  Simon told his captain to head out to the sinking boat. When they got there, he sent a smaller boat out to collect nine passengers and bring them back to his yacht. Simon's crew even helped patch up the other boat and pump water from it.  My source tells me its lucky Simon’s yacht was so close by.  Of course Simon is saying he did what any good person would do. 

The talk continues about Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte getting his own reality show.  At first the rumour was about him being the next Bachelor, but now I hear he might get his own show, all about him on E!  It would just be one of those shows where cameras follow him through his every day life, training and of course doing his fashion line.  Whatever he ends up doing, one thing is for certain, Ryan is going to eat it up!  This guy loves the attention he is getting.

After remarks Seal made during an airport interview regarding his estranged wife Heidi Klum and her bodyguard Martin Kirsten were picked up far and wide this weekend, a rep for Seal issued a statement saying, quote, "Seal would like to clarify that he was not implying his wife was cheating on him while they were together," said the statement. "But rather he was pointing out that they are separated and the divorce is not final so they are legally still married."

Heidi was photographed looking cozy with her bodyguard while vacationing in Sardinia.  After seeing the photos Seal said, quote, "Whilst I didn't expect anything better from him [the bodyguard], I would of thought that Heidi would have shown a little more class and at least waited until we separated first before deciding to fornicate with the help, as it were."

Seal and Heidi, split in January after being married for seven years. She filed for divorce in April.  Apparently Seal has also made outrageous property settlement demands, despite the couple’s nuptial agreement.  Heidi claims Seal asked for a huge chunk of her $70 million fortune.

Did you hear?  Charlie Sheen's Anger Management has been picked up for 90 more episodes.  Now that doesn't just mean more exposure, it means a lot more money for Charlie.  My source tells me that Charlie will bank upwards of $100 million for the 90-episode run. 

Paula Abdul is reportedly in talks to return to TV. My source tells me that the former American Idol/X Factor judge dined with NBC executive Marc Victor in New York last week. Victor confirmed that they discussed a possible new show, although he noted it's still very early in the process.  A friend of Paula's says, "Paula would love to get back on TV again. She is hoping this turns into something solid very soon and can't wait to get to return to television."

Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon in 1980 was denied parole for the seventh time last week.  During his meeting with the parole board, he thought it might help his chances if he told them it was nothing personal against John. He just wanted to take out somebody famous.  Mark allegedly had a list of six or seven potential targets, including Johnny Carson, Elizabeth Taylor, and George C. Scott, but John Lennon was, quote, "the most famous person I knew of."  Apparently, he was hoping this news might change the mind of John's widow, Yoko Ono, who opposes John’s parole every time it comes up.  He said, quote, "I would like Mrs. Lennon to really know that. I think it would help somewhat that it wasn't anger. It wasn't anything against her husband as a person, only as a famous person."
