Michael Clarke Duncan, the 6-foot-5, 300 pound actor who was nominated for an Oscar for "The Green Mile" died yesterday morning at a Los Angeles hospital.  He was 54 years old.  Michael suffered a heart attack almost two months ago, on July 13th, and had been in the hospital ever since.  Michael was in bed asleep at the time of the attack.  His girlfriend, "Apprentice" star Omarosa Manigault, was able to revive him with CPR after the heart attack, but he never really recovered.  Omarosa told media, quote, "I am devastated.  He was the love of my life."  Michael started out as a bodyguard for stars like Will Smith and Jamie Foxx, among others.  He was actually supposed to be guarding the Notorious B.I.G. on the night that Biggie was murdered.  That's when he decided to pursue acting full time.  Besides "The Green Mile" he also starred in, "Armageddon", "The Whole Nine Yards", "Daredevil", "Sin City" and "Talladega Nights:  The Ballad of Ricky Bobby".

Well this one has thrown me for a loop…  Katy Perry and John Mayer were spotted together over the weekend at the FYF Fest in downtown L.A. over.  My source tells me they were posing for pictures and were even spotted making out!  What the?!  The last two weeks the rumour has been that John dropped her like a hot potato and dumped her via email!  It seems that is not the case as they appear to be going strong.

Rumor has it that Beyonce is purposely keeping her distance from Kanye West's girlfriend Kim Kardashian.  According to my source, both Kim and Beyonce were at Jay-Z's Made In America festival in Philly this past weekend, but the two barely spoke to each other.  They were on opposite sides of the stage. Beyonce didn't even acknowledge Kim was there until the concert was almost over."  My source tells me "Kim didn't make any efforts to go speak to Beyonce either." The women eventually "made small talk in the dressing room, but you could tell Kim was uncomfortable. She clung onto Kanye the entire time and didn't say much. Kim was talking to Jonathan (her best friend), and Kanye was talking to Jay-Z and Beyonce." Meanwhile, according to another source of mine, Beyonce and Jay-Z are "upset" with Kim over comments she made about Jay's artist Rita Ora dating her brother Rob. Kim tweeted last week that Rob needs to find himself a good girl. A source told the newspaper, "Jay-Z and Beyonce aren't impressed since she tweeted about her brother Rob needing a good woman even though he's dating Jay's Roc Nation singer Rita Ora."

Justin Bieber just can't seem to stay safe on the road. In May Justin and his girlfriend Selena Gomez were chased on the freeway by paparazzi.  This weekend Justin managed to escape unhurt after two photographers were involved in a car crash as they scrambled to take his photo. A cop reportedly pulled Justin over after seeing that another vehicle was following him. The photographers rushed to the scene after seeing Justin talking to the cop and reportedly lost control of their cars and smashed into one another. Reportedly no arrests were made and Justin is ok. However, according to another source, Justin wasn't pulled over because of the car trailing him but he was pulled over because of the tints on his Fisker Karma.

A woman who made out with a naked Prince Harry during his crazy weekend in Vegas spoke to the British tabloids.  But unfortunately, her story isn't all that juicy.  The woman's name is Carrie Reichert.  She's 32 years old, and she's actually a Brit herself, a fact that helped her get picked by Harry's security to join his party.  Despite all the nudity, Carrie's version of the events makes it all sound kind of innocent.  She says, quote, "Harry was already undressed.  It was just crazy.  He looked actually delirious.  There was a pool table and he was playing air guitar with pool sticks.  He was screaming out, 'Somebody get me a glove!  I'm going to do a Michael Jackson impression!'"  She says Harry was giving, quote, "random naked hugs [and being] really friendly."  She adds, quote, "It was not like an orgy going on, it was just sexy naked.  It was like almost a game.  He was trying to get everybody to get naked.  That was the whole point of him being naked."  Carrie even got a little personal time with the Prince.  She says, quote, "We kissed, he was naked at the time, and pretty open.  It was a drunken fumble.  We kissed for 15 to 20 minutes…  We kissed again [later] and he said, 'That was great.'  He told me I was beautiful and gorgeous, which was sweet.  Then we kind of nonchalantly returned to the party and kept drinking.  It wasn't romantic, just fun."  Carrie is not the girl in the photos, playing naked billiards with Harry.  But she described that woman as, quote, "kind of shy and very timid . . . I didn't catch her name as we were all drinking.  She was an American girl.  She was very slender, really cute and pretty, kind of shy and she also seemed really drunk."

Green Day was forced to cancel a concert in Bologna, Italy on Sunday night (September 2nd) after frontman Billie Joe Armstrong was hospitalized.  The nature of Billie's illness was not disclosed, but drummer Tre Cool and bassist Mike Dirnt posted a video message to fans online, saying, "We apologize profusely, this is really unfortunate, but Billie got rushed to the hospital last night due to illness. The doctors don't think it's a good idea for him to play today."  Not sure if Billie is still in the hospital or not….

Kanye West uses the N-word and the B-word frequently.  In fact, last year he and JAY-Z released songs called "[N-words] in Paris" and "That's My [B-Word]".  And just three weeks ago, he put out a track called "Perfect [B-word]", which was inspired by his girlfriend Kim Kardashian.  So it's somewhat surprising that Kanye spent part of his Labor Day weekend on Twitter . . . debating whether or not it's appropriate to use profanity like the N-word and the B-word.  He Tweeted, quote, "I usually never tweet questions but I struggle with this so here goes:  Is the [B-word] acceptable?  To be more specific, is it acceptable for a man to call a woman a [B-word] even if it's endearing?-"Has hip-hop conditioned us to accept this word?  Do we love this word as much as we love the [N-word] in an endearing way?  Here's the age-old question, would we refer to our mothers as [B-word]?  Would we call our fathers [N-words]?  If [N-word] is such a positive word, why do we feel so uncomfortable for white people to say it, even with a hall pass?  Is it OK to use [B-word] as long as we put BAD in front of it?  Like you a BAD [B-WORD].  Perhaps the words [B-word] and [N-word] are now neither positive nor negative. They're just potent and it depends on how they're used and by whom?"  Then, he added, quote, "What if there was no profanity . . . what if we decided to legalize profanity in a sense?  In France, they play songs with cursing on the radio.  [But] I will admit that I sometimes go back and omit cursing from my records.  I like to use profanity as a tool and not a crutch. Stevie Wonder never had to use the [B-word] to get his point across."
