The Teen Choice Awards were last night and Justin Bieber cleaned up!  Taylor Swift also did alright.  She won five awards, which now gives her a total of 20 Teen Choice Awards!  The "Twilight" movies have now won 41 Teen Choice awards. This year, "Breaking Dawn - Part One", was recognized several times, including winning the "Ultimate Choice Award".  The Biebs performed as did Carly Rae Jepsen, Flo Rida and No Doubt, who gave the first televised performance of their new single "Settle Down".

Supposedly, it's worth $17 MILLION for one season.  For comparison, we've heard Jennifer Lopez made $12 million her first season, and $20 million last season.  Britney Spears is supposedly making $15 million for one season of The X Factor.  Mariah’s always supportive husband Nick Cannon Tweeted the other day, "I don't know if they can afford Mariah Carey . . . they gave J-Lo $20 million, they might have to double that."

In other Mariah news, she has a new single coming out called "Triumphant (Get 'Em)."  Mariah worked with Rick Ross and Meek Mill on the song.  She says she wrote it when she was going through a difficult time and it helped her.  It will drop early next month.

Last week Michael Jackson’s siblings leaked a letter to the Internet calling the executors of Michael's will frauds and asking them to step down.  And they said the situation had stressed their mother Katherine out so badly that she suffered a mini-stroke.  Michael's daughter Paris denied it, and asked her family to stop, quote, "telling everyone things that aren't true."  On Saturday, Paris went on Twitter and said her grandmother is missing.  She Tweeted, quote, "Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven't spoken with her in a week. I want her home now." And Katherine's nephew Trent filed a missing persons report.  The day before that, Jermaine Tweeted, quote, "I want to reassure everyone (including all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in Arizona on the orders of a doctor, not us."  The L.A. County Sheriff's Department wanted to speak to Katherine personally, and by yesterday evening, they had. A spokesman said she told them that she's, quote, "fine and with a family member."  It's not clear if Katherine has spoken to Michael's kids yet, and police are still trying to find out why they had so much trouble getting in touch with her.  A lawyer representing Paris says Katherine flew to New Mexico with her daughter Rebbie on July 15th to watch the Jacksons perform, and hasn't been heard from since.  The lawyer adds, quote, "The kids haven't been able to reach her for almost a week. They are told she's unavailable.  I'm concerned that she's not safe. She has never gone 24 hours without talking to her kids."  There are also reports that the doctor who's caring for Katherine is a guy who testified for the defense in Dr. Conrad Murray’s manslaughter trial. He's not Katherine's regular doctor. He was called in by Jermaine and Randy and in 2000, he was reprimanded by the California medical board for writing fraudulent prescriptions for Janet.  When Paris caught wind of this she Tweeted, quote, "The same doctor that testified on behalf of Dr. Murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother . . . just saying."

Usher’s former stepson, 11 year-old Kile Glover died Saturday morning.  He was declared brain dead just a few days after a tragic July 6th accident involving a jet ski on Lake Lanier in Georgia.  Kile is the son of Usher's ex-wife Tameka.  Usher and Tameka have been involved in an ugly custody battle over their two biological sons, but when Kile was injured, Usher rushed to the hospital.  Usher practically raised Kile as his own so this has been devastating for him.

Tom Cruise is moving back to New York to be closer to Suri.  He will be looking for a new place though.  He wants a fresh start. He doesn’t want to go back to the East Village apartment where he was living with Katie. He’s looking for something that’s very private. Where he won’t have to deal with going through a lobby, and people outside all the time. He also wants to have a nice amount of space for Suri, with outdoor space. That could mean high-end luxury apartments, but he’s also looking at houses outside of the city or in gated communities.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis aren’t hiding their relationship anymore. They went to a party together on Saturday, and they were kissing in front of everyone.  The paparazzi even got a picture. 

I’ve heard that Johnny Depp just bought a home for him and Amber Heard in Hawaii.  He is totally smitten with her and wants a place where they can go, far away from all the scrutiny.  I’ve also heard that he recently bought his ex, Vanessa Paradis a pendant that says: “My heart is always with you.”  My source says, “They are having a family holiday to show the kids they are still a strong family even with the split.  Johnny wants to be with his family, he’s a very family orientated man. His kids mean everything to him. What they need more than anything is to get together far away from Hollywood and that is what they are doing.”

Simon Cowell recently got his bushes trimmed like his head.  Simon is very particular about his $15 million house and needs everything to be perfect. He decided to overhaul his plot and, after consulting a landscape gardener, thought it would be hilarious to have little replicas of his hair everywhere. He briefly considered having topiary faces, too, but figured that would be a little extreme. So he plumped for the hair-shaped bushes.
