The star of The Dark Knight Rises, Batman himself, Christian Bale went to a hospital in Aurora, Colorado to visit victims of the deadly shooting spree at a midnight showing of his movie last week.  Warner Brothers didn't put him up to it.  They issued a statement saying, quote, "Mr. Bale is there as himself, not representing us."  One of the victims, Carey Rottman, posted a picture of himself and Christian on Facebook.  He was shot in the leg.  Christian spent over two hours visiting seven patients who were still being treated for their wounds.  A hospital administrator says the patients were really happy to meet him.  Christian and his wife also visited a memorial for the victims and joined a prayer circle.  They didn't announce or call attention to themselves, and Christian refused to give an interview to a TV news crew that happened to be there.

Meanwhile there has been a massive spike in gun sales in Colorado since the shooting.  Gun control advocates cited the shooting as a prime example of the need for more gun control.  While pro-gun people cited it as an example of their position . . . with less gun control, other people in the theater would've been armed and shot the guy.  It appears the people of Colorado have sided with the latter.  Since the shooting, there's been a 43% increase of people applying for background checks to purchase guns.  That has made this the busiest gun sales week in Colorado all year.  This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, either.  After the shooting in Arizona last year, and after the Virginia Tech massacre in 2007, both of those states also saw double-digit jumps in background checks and gun sales. 

This situation with the Jackson family is spiraling out of control.  Here's the latest:  It looks like Tito, Jackie, and Marlon are breaking with the four Jackson siblings who want to have the executors of Micheal’s estate removed.  Tito says, he completely retracts his signature from the July 17th letter sent to the Executors of Michael's estate.  He says he doesn’t want any part of the letter whatsoever. 

Tito, Jackie and Marlon appeared on "The Insider" last night and Marlon actually broke down in tears.  He said, quote, "We've been told that our mother is safe.  She's doing well.  But we have not spoken to her.  We have not talked to her and I don't know where my mother is.  All I know is she is in Arizona, and whatever doctor is saying I can't talk to my mother you call me!" 

Meanwhile, Tito's son T.J. is trying to become the temporary guardian to Michael's three kids, Paris, Prince and Blanket.   And the executors of Michael's estate, John McClain and John Branca, are supporting him. 

Finally, just when you thought things couldn't get more insane, there's this:  Sources are claiming there was a physical fight between Paris and her Aunt Janet.  It was during that incident Monday night when Janet and two of her brothers allegedly tried to take Michael's kids from their home.  There's security camera footage of what led up to the fight.  It shows three SUVs pulling into the driveway of the home where Michael's kids live.  Everyone gets out, and at first it looks like there's some hugging and handshaking going on.  But then things get heated.  The video switches to another area outside the house, where we see Prince walk by, followed by Randy, who's recording him with his cell phone.  Then Janet and Paris enter the frame, and Janet appears to try to snatch Paris' cell phone from her, while simultaneously recording Paris with her own phone.  Then Paris walks away, and Janet tries to follow her, but Randy restrains her.  Janet and Randy then stand there recording something . . . we're not sure what . . . with their phones.  The fight supposedly happened after the video cuts off.  Apparently Janet slapped Paris and said, quote, "You're a spoiled little [witch]."  Then Paris slapped her back and yelled, quote, "This is our house, not the Jackson family house.  Get the [eff] out!"  There was also supposedly a physical altercation between Katherine's nephew Trent and Jermaine and Randy . . . which may have resulted in Trent having Randy in a headlock and punching Jermaine in the mouth.  That's when police were called.  (Trent lives at the house.  Michael Jackson reportedly hired him years ago to take care of his mom.)  Sources say Randy, Jermaine and Janet came there to take the kids back to Arizona, where their mother Katherine is currently staying with Rebbie.  The kids have reportedly been moved from the house to a "secure location."  They also met with a lawyer that night.  Meanwhile, yesterday morning Paris Tweeted that she still hasn't heard from her grandmother . . . quote, "9 days and counting... so help me god i will make whoever did this pay."

With all the chaos going on in the Jackson family, there's really only one name we haven't heard yet, and usually it's the one that's associated with trouble: LaToya.  My source tells me LaToya wants nothing to do with this insanity and is, quote, "not talking to anyone in the family."  Interestingly enough, we're not hearing about any involvement from Michael's dad Joe Jackson, either.

Rumours are swirling that Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders.  My source tells me Kristen is absolutely devastated.  It was a mistake and a complete lapse in judgment.  She wasn't having an affair with Rupert.  It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened.  Once source say, "She never meant to hurt anyone.  She's a good person who just made a bad choice."  Apparently the cheating happened last week.  Rob supposedly does know that it happened, but it's not clear when he found out.  He and Kristen attended the "Teen Choice Awards" together over the weekend.  Meanwhile, Rupert has baggage of his own.  He's married to Liberty Ross, who played Queen Eleanor in "Snow White and the Huntsman".  They have two kids.

The Night Before J-Lo's 43rd birthday, her boyfriend, Casper paid a visit to a sex shop in New York. Not sure exactly what the 25 year-old bought, but it must have been good because he was grinning from ear to ear when he left the place. 

Here’s another reason why Rihanna needs to stop drinking.  On Monday she Tweeted, quote, "Bartending last night, dropped a bottle, broke it, my foot is still bleeding!!!"  Apparently she actually broke the toe!

Kanye West is planning to propose to Kim Kardashian with some of his late mother's jewelry.  My source says, “Kanye picked out some of Donda’s most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring. He then gave them to a private jeweler friend to make Kim a one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Donda was such an important person in Kanye’s life, he thought the world of her and was devastated when she died. So, he kept all her jewelry as keepsakes.  A lot of the pieces were items he bought over the years after he made it as a hip-hop star. He’s hoping to propose to Kim with the ring when she finally gets divorced. They’ve also reminded him that Kim is not somebody who works hard for her money. She makes millions doing reality shows and selling her image, and Donda’s jewelry shouldn’t be part of that image.''
