Olympic swimmer, Michael Phelps has a special lady, so special in fact he brought her with him to the Olympics in London.  Her name is Megan Rosee.  She’s a 25 year-old model from L.A.  She and Michael started dating in January and it seems things are pretty serious.  My source tells me Michael is like a puppy dog around her.  However, like any young girl hoping to make it in Hollywood, she’s ambitious and knows that by associating herself with Michael she will get a lot of press herself.  My source tells me she’s desperate for her own fame, her career has been a slow-burner and she thinks dating Michael will accelerate it.  Let’s hope, her heart is in fact in the right place. 

Green Mile star, Michael Clarke Duncan is recovering from a heart attack he suffered back on July 13th.  His rep issued a statement saying, quote, "His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time."  Michael's girlfriend, former Apprentice villain Omarosa Stallworth, recently Tweeted, quote, "Everyday GOD continues to smile upon my luv Michael Clarke Duncan on this arduous road to recovery.  God is with us every step of the way!!"  Omarosa actually saved Michael’s life by performing CPR after she discovered him in distress in the middle of the night. 

Robert Pattinson has lined up his first TV appearance since Kristen Stewart admitted to cheating on him last month.  He will appear on Good Morning America on Wednesday, August 15th. Robert has mainly been hiding out at Reese Witherspoon's California estate since news of Kristen's affair went public, but he was spotted at a local bar over the weekend where sources said he seemed "in good spirits."  In other news, Kristen has reportedly been staying with producer Giovanni Agnelli for the past few weeks and Rob is not pleased.  The last thing he wants is for Kristen to find comfort in another male producer.  Regardless of the nature of Kristen and Giovanni’s relationship, it probably wasn’t a good idea for her to go running to him given the nature of her scandal.

Amanda Bynes has stripped everything from her Twitter account.  The account's still there, but she got rid of everything except her profile picture and a link to her WhoSay page.  Why did she do it?  We don't know.  But people suspect it might have to do with yet another hit-and-run allegation.  On Saturday, Amanda's BMW allegedly collided with a Toyota Corolla on Ventura Boulevard.  Amanda actually got out and spoke with the other driver, but she insisted that the damage was too minor to warrant calling the cops or exchanging insurance info then she took off.  The other driver, a woman, says her bumper was damaged, and Amanda actually tried to push it back into place before she left.  The woman did call police, and they're investigating.  Amanda was charged with DUI after side-swiping a police car at an intersection in West Hollywood back in April.  She later Tweeted a plea to President Obama to fire the cop.  That’s not whacky at all!

Elton John has a major beef with Madonna!  According to an interview with Australian television, Elton launched into a tirade about Madonna.  He was upset with the way that Madonna treats the godmother of his son, Lady Gaga. Elton said, "Why is she such a nightmare? Sorry, her career is over. Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***. If Madonna had any common sense she would have made a record like Ray Of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff and just been a great pop singer and make great pop records, which she does brilliantly. But no, she had to go and prove...she looks like a f***ing fairground stripper. She's been horrible to Gaga."  I guess Elton's PR team tried to do some damage control and contact the Australian stations and indicate that the quotes were fabricated however, after being informed that the interview was aired on television, the staff is reportedly claiming that the conversation was supposed to be "off the record."

Sharon Osbourne is leaving America’s Got Talent.  She says she's not coming back next season because she's ticked off at NBC for "firing" her son Jack in June.  She says Jack was deep in negotiations to do the upcoming military-themed reality show, "Stars Earn Stripes", but they suddenly cut ties with him right after he revealed that he had multiple sclerosis.  She says, quote, "I just can't be fake.  It's discrimination, and it was badly handled.  It's time to move on."  Sharon is under contract for another season, but she says, quote, "They can't make me do something I don't want to do."  She will finish this season though.  She Tweeted, quote, "Please don't misunderstand.  I love [the show with] all my heart and will of course finish out the season.  It's still one of the best shows on TV."  Sharon says NBC has tried to smooth things over with her even offering to pay Jack's full appearance fee but she refused.  She says it isn't about money, and that NBC missed an opportunity for Jack to inspire people with the disease.

Pamela Anderson is taking her second stint on "Dancing With the Stars" seriously.  So seriously that she's giving up men.  She says, quote, "I've sworn off men until November."  She's also asking her sons Brandon and Dylan, who are 16 and 14, to help her motivate her fan base online.  She says, quote, "They are technically savvy and I'm not.  Last time I didn't ask a lot of people to vote for me."  Pam was the sixth person eliminated on the 10th season of "Dancing With the Stars".  The upcoming all-star season . . . the show's 15th . . . premieres September 24th.
