Well it doesn’t look like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie got married after all this weekend, but that doesn’t mean I don’t have any happy wedding news to share with you!  Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux got engaged!  Justin’s rep says, quote, "Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage."  There's obviously no word yet on a wedding date.

The closing ceremony of the London Olympics definitely had a British theme.  The bill included: The ska band Madness, the Pet Shop Boys, the boy band One Direction, the drumming dance group Stomp.  The reunited Spice Girls, Jessie J performed with Queen, Taio Crus and rapper Tinie Tempah performed.   Former Oasis singer Liam Gallagher's new band Beady Eye, performed the Oasis song "Wonderwall".  Russell Brand conducted a sing-along of The Beatles' "I Am the Walrus", and sang "Pure Imagination" from "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory".  George Michael performed, Fatboy Slim, Annie Lennox, and The Who closed out the Olympics!

Robert Pattinson may forgive Kristen Stewart for cheating.  Initially he was very angry at Kristen for ruining what they had and for publically embarrassing him.  Now that he’s starting to wind down though he’s thinking more clearly and he doesn’t know if it’s worth throwing in the towel on their relationship for this one indiscretion on Kristen’s part.  Basically, he has to decide what will make him happy and he goes back and forth.  There are certainly some friends of his who think he should walk away and not look back.

Meanwhile Rob is preparing to be interviewed by Jon Stewart tonight.  Kristen is said to be pretty nervous about it.  She’s hurting right now and she doesn’t want to be made fun of on TV.  She’s crossing her fingers that Jon doesn’t go there and instead concentrates on promoting Robert’s new movie Cosmopolis.

Despite being heartbroken, Kristen did apparently manage to party with the likes of Lindsay Lohan last Thursday at a private house party. 

In other news, Jessica Simpson’s dad, Joe was arrested for DUI last week.  He was driving with a blood alcohol level of .12% in L.A. which is well over California's legal limit of .08%.  Its 54 year-old Joe’s first offense so he likely won't get jail time.

On Friday a woman gave birth in a New York City park.  Jonah Hill and his girlfriend happened to be there.  After the baby was delivered and mother and child were loaded into an ambulance, Jonah whipped out his iPhone and took pictures of the aftermath, which included some blood on the ground.  What he didn’t know was that TMZ cameras were there and filmed him taking pictures.  When they tried to get a comment from him, he took off.  Later he Tweeted about it. He said, quote, "Craziest thing I've ever seen. A woman gave birth next to me in a park. I took a picture of the placenta and TMZ caught me. Embarrassing."

Lindsay Lohan is up to her old tricks!  Last week Clint Eastwood’s daughter, Francesca Eastwood was celebrating her 19th birthday with friends in a private room at a club called Bootsy Bellows when Lindsay showed up and apparently went off.  For whatever reason she walked up to Francesca and started screaming that she should leave.  She was yelling, 'I'm a star, she's a nobody, get her out of here!'"  When someone tried to get Lindsay to calm down, she became aggressive, and security had to ask her to leave.  Lindsay's car almost hit a valet guy on its way out of the parking lot, but at least it was a friend, and not Lindsay, who was driving.  This all happened last Tuesday. On Friday, Francesca's boyfriend told E! News, quote, "We were celebrating . . . and it was a blast. Suddenly, there was a burst of chaos, and as quickly as it started it was over.  After the fact, we were all a bit confused about what just happened."  And Francesca added, quote, "I'm not sure what exactly sparked Lindsay's outburst. Regardless, I still had an amazing birthday and 'Parent Trap' is still my favorite movie."

Rumor has it that Kim Kardashian has stopped taking her birth control pills so that she and Kanye can conceive a child.  My source says, "Kim is ready to have babies and talks about it all the time." Another source says that since Kim has been on the pill for about 15 years, she is taking the "necessary measures" to make it easier to conceive. In other Kanye news he has enlisted producer and DJ Skrillex to work on his upcoming album. Skrillex said about the project, "I did some music with Kanye and from what I know, it's actually going to be the first song on his new album."
