Did Selena Gomez Also Just Release a Justin Bieber Diss Track?
THE WEEKND isn't the only one who's (allegedly) taking shots at JUSTIN BIEBER. SELENA GOMEZ sings on a new track by KYGO called "It Ain't Me", and the lyrics might have something to do with her ex.
Even just the chorus sounds like a dis . . . quote, "Who's going to walk you through the dark side of the morning / Who's going to rock you when the sun won't let you sleep / Who's waking up to drive you home / When you're drunk and all alone? / It ain't me."
Sure, it could just be a generic breakup song. But the fact that Selena and the Weeknd are currently shacking up, and that both of these songs came out this week . . . well, that just seems a little too convenient.
Speaking of Justin Bieber
We've all called in sick to work when we're really hungover, right? Well, it looks like JUSTIN BIEBER just got caught doing something like that.
On February 8th, he was supposed to be in court for a deposition. He's being sued for allegedly using a sample for "Sorry" without paying for it. Lawyers for the songwriter who's suing Justin flew into L.A. from Nashville to interview him.
But just hours before it was supposed to happen, Justin's people called and said he was sick and couldn't make it. But then they found videos on YouTube of Justin drinking at a house party AND a club early THAT morning.
A week after news broke that George and Amal Clooney are expecting twins, the actor's mother has revealed the gender of the babies. "It will be one of each! Yes, a boy and a girl," she gushed to Vogue magazine last weekend, in comments printed for the first time on Thursday. "That's what I've been told How marvelous! My husband and I are extremely excited." Amal is reportedly due in June.
Camila Cabello has revealed that she hasn't spoken to her Fifth Harmony bandmates since announcing she was leaving the group last December. "I want to get into the details of all that, because it was really intense and it’s hard for me to talk about," she says. "It makes me sad... I hoped that it would be a peaceful turning of the page and we would root for each other." The 19-year-old Cuba native goes on to say she has no regrets about her decision. "The easiest route would be to shut my mouth, sing the songs, wear the clothes and keep going, you know?" she notes. "[But] I have it in my DNA. The way my mom raised me, it has always been: Don’t settle. Jump and hope you grow wings on the way down. I feel alive!"
Joe Jonas has admitted that he's been jealous of how quickly his little brother Nick Jonas catapulted to success after the Jonas Brothers broke up. "I'm envious at times, watching his artistry and how he went so quickly into creating music and an album," he tells Gotham magazine. "But I also knew that it was important to take time for myself to be able to figure out what exactly I wanted to do next."
The 27-year-old DNCE frontman goes on to say that he ultimately decided that being a solo artist wasn't for him. "It wasn’t what I felt most comfortable doing," he explains. "I always loved being in a band surrounded by great musicians and people that love it as much as me, and being able to perform onstage with a group of friends and have a blast. That’s at the core of what DNCE has been for the last two years—just pure fun for us."
