DJ MACE

Trevor Mason, known as “DJ Mace” began his DJ career at the age of 12 in Kingston Ontario, where he developed his crowd-pleasing skills, by producing mixed tapes and playing at local high school dances. Mace eventually moved to the Nation's Capital and began putting on large-scale events and playing at local night clubs, drawing hundreds of people at a time.

DJ Mace has a collection of accomplishments and achievements, including the 2006 Stylus Ottawa DJ of the year, which was awarded by his peers in the music industry as well as the general public. His popularity stems from his ability to transcend markets, his extensive creativity, knowledge and love of music. There are few DJ's that can produce the energy that DJ Mace does, you can feel the intensity and passion he has for music as he switches from song to song. R&B, HIP HOP, OLD SCHOOL, HOUSE, REGGAE, SOCA & more… DJ Mace plays it all!

DJ Mace has been credited for playing alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Enuff, Maestro Fresh Wes, DJ Premier, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Digable Planets, Tony Touch, Kid Capri, De La Soul, Red Alert, Beenie Man, Sean Paul, Snoop Dogg, Choclair, Kardinal Offishall, Saukrates, 2 Live Crew, Vince Carter, Jully Black and many other international performers.
