Lindsay Lohan has defended disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein in a now-deleted Instagram story. Basically, she said that he never harmed her (they did two movies together) and she pleaded with everyone to “stop.” She also slammed Harvey’s wife, Georgina, who is leaving him because of all of the accusations made against him. Lindsay told Georgina she should stand by her husband.
Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie now say they had run-ins with him in the ’90s.
Gwyneth was 22 and had just been cast in the 1996 movie “Emma” when Harvey invited her to his hotel room. It started like a typical business meeting, until Harvey suggested massages.
She refused, and told her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt about it. Brad confronted Harvey at a movie premiere, and told him never to touch her again. But all that did was make Harvey go off on Gwyneth.
She says, “He screamed at me for a long time. It was brutal . . . I thought he was going to fire me.” Of course, he didn’t, and a few years later, she was an Oscar winner for “Shakespeare in Love”, which was made by Harvey’s company Miramax.
Gwyneth says Harvey was, “alternately generous and supportive and championing, and punitive and bullying.”
Angelina’s story takes place around the time that her movie “Playing by Heart” came out in 1998. Once again, in a hotel room. She didn’t give any details, though.
She said, “I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warned others when they did. This behavior towards women in any field, any country, is unacceptable.”
Justin Bieber hasn’t done any acting . . . outside of a guest appearance on “CSI” seven years ago, and a couple of other cameos where he played himself. But apparently, that’s about to change.
My source tells me, Justin is seeking out advice from some big-time Hollywood types . . . and no, we’re not talking about Christian Bale, Leonardo DiCaprio, or Daniel Day-Lewis.
Apparently, Justin asked Adam Sandler and David Spade out to dinner to pick their brains about breaking into the film industry. My source says, they had a great time.

Usher’s lawyer claims that genital herpes accuser Laura Helm “made the free choice to engage in unprotected sexual activity” with the singer and has no case against him. His lawyer states, “With a one in six chance that any given partner could have genital herpes, plaintiff assumed the risk of contracting an STD each and every time she chose to have unprotected sex with a casual, consensual party,.” Usher and his lawyer are trying to get the $20 million lawsuit dismissed.
On a lighter note… Seth Rogen’s mom Sandy recently reached out to Seth on Twitter after he failed to answer her phone calls. She tweeted, “Where are you?” Fans were quick to come to Sandy’s aid. “Call you mama, boy!” one tweeted. Another warned, “That Franco kid is a bad influence.” Even Twitter itself got involved, asking Sandy, “Did you find him?” Seth found the humour in the situation and later retweeted his mother’s message. “When you don’t answer your mom’s phone calls for a day,” he wrote. Sandy also appeared to be amused as she responded with a simple “Ha!” She also updated one of Seth’s followers who scolded the comedian by revealing that he’d “finally” informed her of his whereabouts.
Drake threw an extravagant birthday party for The Weeknd’s ex, Bella Hadid. She turned 21 on Monday. According to my source, Drake planned everything. The party tool place at a lounge in New York. There were about 30 people there, including Bella’s sister Gigi, her parents Yolanda and Mohamed Hadid, and talent manager Scooter Braun. Bella shared a photo from the party on Instagram that showed her sitting on a bar counter next to silver balloons that spelled out her name.
Jon Hamm and Dakota Johnson reportedly went on a date last Thursday. The 46-year-old Mad Men star and 28-year-old actress were spotted drinking wine at Kingside in the Viceroy Central Park Hotel. “They seemed to really be enjoying each other’s company,” an eyewitness says. The source goes on to say that the pair’s “low-key” evening together lasted for about two hours. This isn’t the first time that Jon and Dakota have been spotted together; the two were photographed at Elton John’s 70th birthday party back in April.
Jon and his partner of 18 years, the actress Jennifer Westfeldt, called it quits in 2015. has since admitted that he thinks being single “sucks.”
Kelly Clarkson opened about her long-time feud with producer Clive Davis. Kelly says their tense relationship dates back to 2004, when they argued over the direction of her music and he complained about a song she wrote (“Because of You”) during a group meeting. “I was told that was a sh**ty song because it didn’t rhyme,” she recalls. “A group of men thought it was OK to sit around a young woman and bully her. I was told I should shut up and sing.” She continues, “Here’s the thing. It always sounds like I’m going against Clive Davis. [But] you have no idea how excited I was when I found out he was taking over. It’s like meeting someone you’ve idolized since you were a kid and being let down.”
