Post Malone says Justin Bieber (who he once toured with) is wrapped up in the “cult” of Hillsong Church and that Justin had donated more than $10 million to the church! In a new Rolling Stone profile, this is what is written: “When I ask Malone about Bieber, he calls him “a f$&king awesome, great dude” and “a genuine friend.” He adds, “He’s gotten super-religious recently. Real culty. He’s already given them, like, $10 million. Those are the worst kinds of people. I used to be super-religious. I believed in God. But now I see through it. It’s nice to support something you believe in, I guess, but people are spending so much money, and God doesn’t care that your church has a f$&king gold roof.” I ask if he’s shared these thoughts with Bieber. “We don’t talk about this stuff,” he says.”
The “American Music Awards” went down last night, and it looks like PINK stole the show by performing on the side of the JW Marriott.
She and her dancers, were suspended about halfway up the hotel, dancing on the side of the building as if it was the floor.
If any other artist out there has an idea of how to top this, I’d love to see it.
Meanwhile, Christina Aguilera did an amazing tribute to Whitney Houston for the 25th anniversary of “The Bodyguard”.
And Diana Ross sang some of her hits and danced with her grandchildren before receiving a lifetime achievement award from her kids.
There was a reaction shot of Pink during Christina’s performance, and it looked like she was cringing. But the camera just caught her at a weird moment. She later Tweeted that Christina killed it, and she was actually moved to tears.
As for performances that were maybe NOT so moving, Selena Gomez is being criticized for allegedly lip-syncing.
As for the awards themselves, Bruno Mars picked up seven, including Artist of the Year, and Favorite Male Pop/Rock Artist. Lady Gaga won Female Pop/Rock Artist, and Imagine Dragons won the group award.
Niall Horan won New Artist of the Year, and Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood took Favorite Male and Female Country Artist, respectively.
Jennifer Garner has revealed that she gets super excited about meeting big names outside of Hollywood. “I am starstruck by children’s book authors, big time,” she admits, “I met Marla Frazee [author of The Boss Baby] and was just, didn’t even know what to say to her.” She continues, “I am star struck by ballerinas, big time.” Jennifer says even talented performers leave her smitten. “I heard this woman play the saxophone the other day, she was so amazing. I couldn’t look at her after,” she notes. “Just anyone who can do something that you can’t do.”
Billy Ray Cyrus is so comfortable with daughter Miley’s fiancé Liam Hemsworth, that he’s started stealing his t-shirts. “I think if you bring something back you didn’t really steal it,” Billy told Harry Connick Jr. of the black shirt he was wearing on Friday’s episode of Harry. “…He didn’t know though and he doesn’t know. I happened to be getting ready to come up and do this show and there was a clean shirt there.” Billy further explained how he ended up wearing the shirt on TV, noting, “I sweat through four layers of clothes and Liam’s t-shirt was the last thing I had left.”
There is a rumour floating around that Kim Kardashian plans on filing for a divorce from Kanye West before their third child is born via surrogate. The rumour was sparked after Kim attended Serena Williams’ wedding to Alexis Ohanian solo. That is a little strange, but I still don’t think I believe it.
Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg were being interviewed on Good Morning Britain and it was revealed that Mark Wahlberg has a third nipple… just like Harry Styles. I did not know that! Neither did Will… it actually made things uncomfortable. It didn’t really seem like Mark wanted to talk about it and Will was afraid of saying something that would upset him. Also, in the interview Mark talked about how he is training for a movie right now, so he is working out every day. The morning of the interview he woke up at 4am and worked out for an hour. Will joked that he woke up at 7am and ate an entire cheese cake. By the way, none of the jokes made during their interview actually make the movie they are promoting, Daddy’s Home 2, any better.
Days before he proposed to “Bodak Yellow” singer Cardi B onstage, Migos admitted in court documents that he’s the secret father of a 7-year-old boy from another mother. In August, Justine Watson took legal action to establish Migos’ paternity and child support, alleging the rapper provided only sporadic financial assistance for son Jordan and had never taken a DNA test to confirm paternity. In response, Migos admitted in legal documents last month that he is the child’s father, but insists he’s provided financial support since his son’s birth. Now Migos wants joint legal and physical custody. Meanwhile, Migos moved to make all his financial info in the case private just two days after popping the question to Cardi B.
Coldplay just finished their “A Head Full of Dreams Tour” in Buenos Aires last week, and to say it was a success would be an understatement.
Coldplay performed for 5.4 million people around the world over a year and a half, and grossed more than $523 million in ticket sales. That makes it the THIRD most-successful world tour of all time.
It still fell way short of U2’s “360 Tour”, which is the top tour of all time, with $736.4 million from 2009 to 2011.
The Rolling Stones are in second place thanks to their “A Bigger Bang Tour”, which made $558.2 million from 2005 to 2007.
Thanks to Coldplay, Roger Waters’ and his “The Wall Live” tour fell to fourth, with $459 million. That one ran from 2010 to 2013.
