Justin Bieber posted a pic of his mom, Pattie Mallette, on Insta over the weekend. Their relationship has been strained over the last few years, but things are looking up. In fact, Pattie was recently asked if she approved of Justin and Selena Gomez hooking back up. She said, “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her.” She went on to say that they have a special bond and that she thinks she is precious.
My source tells me Prince Harry has quit smoking for Meghan Markle. Meghan is very health conscious so, I’ve been told that Harry started by promising not to smoke at home and now he has quit all together.
As Garth Brooks prepared to begin the first of seven Nashville shows on Saturday, he shared a surprising dream guest during a pre-show press conference. The country superstar says he dreams of sharing the stage with Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher. Apparently, Garth first heard the hockey player sing “The River” when Carrie posted a clip on social media a few years ago. He’s since called Mike on several occasions to invite him onstage, but he appears to have a case of very cold feet. I guess Mike did sing a bit with Garth offstage in 2016 and Carrie wasn’t too pleased. She complained, “You cannot sing with Garth Brooks before I do.”
Justin Bieber has vowed to help the victims affected by the devastating California wildfires that have resulted in tens of thousands of people evacuating their homes. “I’m going to have a conversation with some people and we are going to get moving on a solution,” he shared in a video on Instagram over the weekend. “Obviously I’m not a fireman, but I can use my resources to figure out ways to get some sort of restoration in certain communities. Fundraisers or whatever we can do. I’m going to get on that and in the meantime, all the families and everyone who are struggling, just know that everything is going to be okay.” Justin also shared a list of items that the public could donate to help victims, as well as drop-off locations for them.
One of the wildfires in California is threatening a beachfront home owned by Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi. It’s not clear if they’ve evacuated yet, but over the weekend they did remove their pets from the house.
Ellen Tweeted, “Our house is under threat of being burned. We just had to evacuate our pets. I’m praying for everyone in our community and thankful to all the incredible firefighters.”
She added, “Everyone in the Montecito area is checking up on each other and helping to get people and animals to safety. I’m proud to be a part of this community. I’m sending lots of love and gratitude to the fire department and sheriffs.”
This same fire is threatening the homes of other celebrities, including Oprah, Jeff Bridges, Drew Barrymore, Patrick Stewart, and Rob Lowe . . . who DID evacuate.
On Friday, a Tennessee woman named Kimberly Jones picked up her son Keaton from middle school, because he was being bullied so bad that he was afraid to go to lunch.
Keaton cried as he asked her, “Just out of curiosity, why do they bully?” And he told her that at lunch, the bullies would pour milk on him, and call him ugly . . . apparently because he has scars on his head from a tumor operation.
The video went viral in a major way. In just three days, it surpassed 20 million views . . . and a ton of celebrities are sending love Keaton’s way.
Chris Evans Tweeted, “Stay strong, Keaton. Don’t let them make you turn cold. I promise it gets better. While those punks at your school are deciding what kind of people they want to be in this world, how would you and your mom like to come to the ‘Avengers’ premiere in LA next year?”
Hailee Steinfeld posted a video saying, “Hey Keaton, I just wanted to say I think you are amazing, [and] I’d love for you to be my date to the ‘Pitch Perfect 3′ premiere on Tuesday.”
Millie Bobby Brown from “Stranger Things” Tweeted, “Keaton, this is so accurate. Why do people do this? I think your sooo cool Keaton! I wanna be your friend, but seriously, you’re freakin’ awesome.”
Others who have sent Keaton some love include: Ryan Seacrest, Mark Ruffalo, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Jonas, rapper Cardi B, country singer Kelsea Ballerini, Idina Menzel, Snoop Dogg, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, Ricky Martin, Chris Brown, Orlando Bloom, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, the Colorado Rockies . . . Justin Bieber, Nickelback, Demi Lovato, Camila Cabello, and Maddie Ziegler. Plus, a bunch folks he may not know, like Dr. Phil, Tom Arnold, Ed Asner, Billy Baldwin, Patricia Arquette, Carnie Wilson, Sean Hannity, and Dana White.
It looks like Angelina Jolie and her father, Jon Voight are on speaking terms again…in fact, it may be even better than that. Angelina says, “Jon and I have gotten to know each other . . . through grandchildren now . . . [and] we’re finding a new relationship.” So, although they are talking, she calls him Jon, not Dad…it’s all about baby steps, I guess. She continued saying, “We’ve had some difficulties, [but] through art we’ve been able to talk. It’s the common language. We don’t really talk politics well. We talk art very well.” Jon is a pretty avid Republican . . . so it stands to reason that Angelina is not.
Charlie Sheen is suing the “National Enquirer” for defamation, over a story it ran last month claiming he sexually abused Corey Haim back in 1986, when Corey was 13.
Charlie’s lawsuit says the “Enquirer” story was actually retaliation because they were angry they didn’t get to break the news that Charlie is HIV-positive.
In that story, the “Enquirer” claimed to have spoken to numerous people who could corroborate the allegation. But Charlie’s lawsuit notes that they only identified one of them: A former actor named Dominick Brascia.
And Dominick himself has actually been accused of molesting Corey. In fact, Corey’s mother told Dr. Phil that it was Brascia, and not Charlie, who abused her son.
The “Enquirer” says, “We look forward to litigating against Charlie Sheen, and can’t wait to expose his depravities in a court of law.”
