The nominees for this year’s Golden Globe Awards were announced yesterday, and the Guillermo Del Toro movie “The Shape of Water” led the way with seven nominations.
The HBO series “Big Little Lies” and the movie “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” got the second-most nominations, with six each.
Among the most seriously snubbed show was Veep, it was shut out of nominations for the first time ever (after cleaning up in previous years).
Wonder Woman was the biggest shocker though: despite being critically acclaimed and making serious bank, it also got snubbed.
Greta Gerwig was also overlooked for her work directing Lady Bird (which got plenty of other love, being nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Screenplay).
Girls Trip, starring Tiffany Haddish in an epic, fan-fave, breakout role, was also overlooked.
“The 75th Annual Golden Globes” will air live on Sunday, January 7th on NBC. SETH MEYERS is hosting.

Beyoncé has returned to the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 for the first time in nine years, thanks to her and Ed Sheeran’s duet “Perfect.” Ed celebrated in Insta writing, “Feels mad to say this, but I’ve had my second ever #1 single in America, one at the start at the year, one at the end. What a year it’s been. Thanks to Beyoncé for giving this new version a revamp, and thanks to everyone who’s supporting it. You guys rule.”
Selena Gomez has confirmed that she and Justin Bieber are back together, but she still isn’t following him on Instagram. That doesn’t mean, however, that she isn’t keeping tabs on his account. Fans noticed that Selena recently liked a photo that Justin posted of him and his mom. Given that he wouldn’t show up in her feed, that means she had to type in his name and creep on his account. It’s nice to know that even a celebrity with 131 million followers isn’t above tracking her love interest’s moves on social media.

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Tiffany Haddish opened up about going to Taylor Swift’s house for dinner. “She has those old school 1980 Polaroid cameras all over, and she takes lots of pictures and makes these really beautiful collages,” Tiffany shared. She also revealed that she and Taylor became friends when they appeared on Saturday Night Live together last month. She said, “It’s so funny, when she came in, she came immediately into my room, it was like, ‘I love your comedy. I’ve been watching you, I know all of your stuff. She started quoting jokes [from] like 10 years ago. I was like, ‘Oh, I like this b**ch.'”
During a recent interview, Kelly Ripa revealed that her former Live co-host Regis Philbin had a strict policy: Absolutely no talking off camera. “He had almost a superstition about it. You save it for the show. I’d be like, ‘Good morning,’ and he’d say, ‘Save it for the air!” she recalled. Kelly and current co-host Ryan Seacrest shared that they have a very different relationship. They say that they text each other at night and hang out on the weekends.

It pays to be a reality star, apparently. Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Scott Disick just dropped more than $15,000 on sneakers. He did that, yet he says, he can’t believe that Kanye West’s Yeezy sneakers go for $8,000 a pair.

We’re getting pregnant,” the latter tells Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin). The second half of the series premieres on December 22 on Netflix.
