On Monday’s episode of Good Morning Britain, two of Meghan Markle’s estranged family members appeared as guests and expressed regret that they weren’t invited to the royal wedding. However, the host hilariously shut them down. “We’ve been here from the beginning, her whole life, just always rooting her on and supporting her,” said Tyler Dooley, whose mother Tracey used to be married to Meghan’s brother. Tracey herself added, “I don’t think we are going to get the invitations–and that’s fine. We’re okay with that. We’re still supporting her on. We’re so proud of her.” Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley then asked when the two had last spoken to Meghan. Tyler and Tracy replied that it had been about three years ago and 20 years ago, respectively. “Well, then it doesn’t seem unreasonable for you not to be invited, does it?” The host quipped. “I mean, if it’s 20 years, you’re pretty much on the fringes, aren’t you, of the family, to be honest?”
In Billboard’s story about the 20th anniversary of ‘N Sync’s debut album, the boy band members reveal that their rivalry with the Backstreet Boys was over a girl, not music. “I wanted to punch AJ [McLean’s] lights out for a little while. I was dating a girl, I broke up with her and he started dating her,” ‘N Sync member Chris Kirkpatrick recalls. “And I guess he was talking smack to her about me, so I confronted him on it and wanted to kick his a**.” He continues, “I don’t know how it got resolved–I saw him out one night and said I wanted to kill him, but I said, ‘Let’s get a beer.’ I think boy band fights are in the same realm as hockey fights. You fight when you’re on TV, but then when you’re not, you get a beer together. Now we’re really good friends.”
While interviewing Anna Faris, Dax Shepard (who is married to Kristen Bell) revealed that he wanted to ask Anna out back in 2005 when he was still single. “I saw Just Friends and was like, ‘You are so talented’ and you and I sat next to each other during a premiere,” he recalled. Dax admitted he thought to himself, “I would definitely like to take this person on a date.” However, he felt like Anna wasn’t interested. “From my point of view, that door was shut. It was like a dead-bolt door,” he explained. Anna conceded. “I think my first husband [Ben 0=”Indra”] may have been sitting to the right of me,” she noted. On the bright side, she also paid Dax a wonderful compliment. “Can I be obnoxious? You have always been a very handsome man,” she declared. “You are just one of those guys that gets more handsome as they age, and it’s not just the Red Bull talking.”
FOX News host Shannon Bream took to Twitter over the weekend to ask for assistance in fulfilling the wish of a dying 11-year-old boy named Emilio. “Need your help Twitterverse. Trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he wants is a greeting from one of the AvengerS,” she wrote. “If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!” Thousands of people expressed their support–including Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds. “Happy to! DM me,” tweeted Chris, who plays Captain America. Ryan, who plays Deadpool, also threw his hat in the ring. “I’m more of a ‘Reserve Avenger.’ But happy to help,” he joked. “DM me.” Shannon later updated everyone to let them know that “major progress” has happened. “I guess Twitter can be full of love when someone really needs it,” she tweeted.
Britney Spears’ father Jamie Spears is reportedly looking into ending Britney’s conservatorship. “Jamie is actively consulting with Britney’s medical team to determine if the conservatorship of Britney as the person should finally come to an end,” my insider says. Britney, who is 36, has been under the guidance of the court-ordered conservatorship since 2008, after she was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation in the wake of a highly publicized breakdown and divorce from Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, ages 12 and 11. The arrangement states that due to an undisclosed mental illness and past substance abuse, Britney cannot make personal or financial decisions without the approval of her father, as well as lawyer Andrew Wallet.
Lauren Jauregui has opened up about whether she’ll release a solo album during Fifth Harmony’s recently-announced “indefinite hiatus.” She says, “Right now, I’m just exploring myself and getting in touch with myself creatively. To be real, I don’t want to give myself boundaries.”
Tiffany Haddish reveals in a new interview with GQ that, on the night she met Beyoncé at a JAY-Z afterparty back in December, somebody bit Queen Bey in the face. “There was this actress there that’s just, like, doing the mostest,” Tiffany explains. “She bit Beyoncé in the face. So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to JAY-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This b**ch’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b**ch just bit Beyoncé?’” Tiffany adds that she approached Bey about it later on. “Near the end of the party, Beyoncé’s at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her a** beat tonight.'” But Bey wouldn’t have it. “She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that,'” Tiffany says. “‘That b**ch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The b**ch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.'” Of course, you are dying to know who the biter was, right?! Well, a lot of people are saying it was Jennifer Lawrence! I can totally see it, but I feel like she would do it in a drunk, playful kinda way. LOL!
It seems like just yesterday Justin Bieber was a punk who thought it was funny to pee in a restaurant’s mop bucket. Now, he’s apparently a devout Christian . . . and religion might play a bigger role in his new music.
Apparently, Justin is working on “Christian-appropriate” songs for his next album.
Technically, no one is saying it will be a full-on Christian album, but one of my sources says, “Justin is on the lookout for songs which really reflect where he is in his life in terms of spirituality.
Paris Hilton is reportedly scared of being robbed after nearly losing her $2 million engagement ring last week. “Paris DJs at clubs all over the world, so it isn’t hard to find out where she will be on a particular night,” an insider tells Page Six. “Her fiancé, Chris [Zylka], has been encouraging her to get a replica made with an inexpensive stone that she should wear when she’s in public.” The source adds that the 37-year-old heiress is “afraid she’ll end up being robbed like Kim [Kardashian 0=”West”], because everyone knows she’s got $2 million on her finger.” Last Friday, Hilton lost her pear-shaped engagement ring while partying in Miami; she miraculously found it in an ice bucket. On the same night, the businesswoman was reportedly unnerved by a stranger who seemed to be following her around.
