As a contribution to the Universal Love album, (a collection of love songs re-imagined to be more inclusive) Kesha recorded “I Need a Woman” – a take on the Janis Joplin song, “I Need a Man“.
The video was shot on March 26th, the anniversary of the first same sex marriage license issued in the US and in it, she officiates fans Dani & Lindsay’s wedding:
