Mandy Moore has called out her ex-boyfriend Wilder Valderrama for claiming in the 2006 interview with Howard Stern that he took her virginity. Mandy says, “He did not.” She continued, “I dated him when I was 16-17, no… I was so shocked by it because not only was it a fib, but it was so unlike him, so uncharacteristic.” She continued, “I remember in the moment he tried to explain it away that he did get caught up and maybe insinuated more than outright said it and I said, ‘No, you outright said it.’ I was like, ‘Why would you ever talk about that with anybody and lie about it?”
Wilmer’s list of exes include Mandy, Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan, Minka Kelly, and Jennifer Love Hewitt. “He’s dated all the ladies,” Mandy joked. “I met him at a photoshoot for some teen magazine literally when I was 15. Never French kissed a boy, he was like my first real, true boyfriend… I moved past it now.”
On a recent episode of The Talk, Sharon Osbourne revealed that she still regrets allowing her oldest daughter Aimee to move out when she was just 16. “She couldn’t live in our house because we were filming [The Osbournes] and it drove her insane,” Sharon explained. “She felt too that she didn’t want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea. It was appalling to her.” She added, “And so she left at 16 and I regret every day that she did… She was happy, but it broke my heart when she moved.”
Kathy Griffin has revealed that the infamous photo of her holding what looks like President Donald Trump’s severed head not only hurt her career, but her personal life. She says she lost 90 percent of her friends. She recently told a story that comedian Katt Williams called her that day [the 0=”photo” 1=”was” 2=”released”] and he said to her, ‘Get out a pen and a piece of paper.’ She did, and was expecting some advice or talking points, but he gave her a better tip. He told her to write down the name of every single person who called her with complete support and at the end of the day look at the list and those people she could consider true friends. She says the list has only three names on it.
Looks like Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid are for sure giving things another try. Gigi posted a selfie to her Instagram Story, showing herself cozying up to Zayn. Although Zayn’s face can’t be seen, his bleach-blonde hair and armful of tattoos are visible as Gigi lays across his lap.
Zayn is playing a Pokémon card game on his iPad in the photo, which Gigi captioned, “After party like making it rain Pokémon cards.” Back in April, the two were spotted smooching in New York City, just a month after announcing they’d broken up after two years of dating. Gigi and Zayn have yet to otherwise confirm the current status of their relationship.
Yesterday President Trump commuted the sentence of Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year-old great-grandmother who’s served 22 years of a life sentence on nonviolent drug charges. If Alice Marie’s name sounds familiar, it’s because Kim Kardashian championed her cause in person last week in an Oval Office sit-down with Trump. In a statement the White House said, “Ms. Johnson has accepted responsibility for her past behavior and has been a model prisoner over the past two decades. While this Administration will always be very tough on crime, it believes that those who have paid their debt to society and worked hard to better themselves while in prison deserve a second chance.” Kim expressed her gratitude to Trump and Jared Kushner on Twitter, describing Alice Marie’s impending freedom as the “BEST NEWS EVER!!!!” One of Kim’s lawyers also said she engaged in “an emotional phone call” with Alice Marie after the prisoner learned she’d be a free woman soon.
Actor, feminist and activist, Jessica Chastain says she thinks the Kardashians are “the most powerful women in our society” and that Kim is a “genius.” She goes on to say she watched Keeping Up With the Kardashians when she was preparing to play celebrity poker ringleader Molly Bloom in the 2017 film Molly’s Game, and that it impressed her that Kim made her family attend media training. “Kim’s the one that brings everyone to go do it. You definitely see that she is a very intelligent person and is learning how to gain control over her life,” Chastain notes. “I mean, she already has it, but especially in media and society.”
Missy Elliott and Ariana Grande worked together for a song that will be featured on Ariana’s upcoming album Sweetener. Ariana let the collaboration slip on Twitter yesterday… Missy confirmed it writing, “I got to write a song for Ariana. I’m humbly grateful.”
After promising to leave Twitter after a racist tweet comparing Barack Obama’s former aide Valerie Jarrett to an ape, Roseanne Barr is popping up again. Tuesday afternoon, she posted a mysterious tweet pledging to make amends: “I’m making restitution for the pain I have caused,” she wrote.
But then she retweeted several racist posts, including one that read “@therealrosanne You didn’t cause any pain. Those people always hated you. Valerie Jarrett wants Israelis and Jews chased into the sea, and she’ll celebrate.” Roseanne is Jewish.
She also interacted with media users posting offensive things.
“Do you not know what VJ has done?” wrote one user, referencing Jarrett. “Her tweet is nothing in comparison. And her tweet wasn’t bullying.”
In response, Roseanne tweeted: “They know not.”
Meanwhile, Roseanne’s ex Tom Arnold continues to speak out, saying Roseanne’s co-star John Goodman will “have to go into trauma therapy for post-traumatic stress. Every time I looked in his eyes when I was sitting next to her, he was like a hostage.”
“Forbes” has released its annual list of the ‘100 Highest Paid Athletes in the World.’ Boxer Floyd Mayweather made the most money over the past year, with an estimated take of $285 million.
That’s not surprising, since he’s been #1 in four of the past seven years.
What IS a little surprising is that NO women made the cut. That hasn’t happened since at least 2010, when they started doing the list. But there’s never been a lot of female representation.
Last year, Serena Williams was the only woman to make it. She made an estimated $27 million, which was good enough to put her at #51.
But she took time off to have a baby, so over the past 12 months she ‘only’ made $18 million, which dropped her out of the Top 100… And doesn’t that paint the picture of why women and men everywhere are fighting for wage equality.
Here’s the Top 10:
- Floyd Mayweather, $285 million, Boxing
- Lionel Messi, $111 million, Soccer
- Cristiano Ronaldo, $108 million, Soccer
- Conor McGregor, $99 million, MMA (Of course, $85 million of that came from his BOXING match with Floyd, who made $275 million from it.)
- Neymar, $90 million, Soccer
- LeBron James, $85.5 million, Basketball
- Roger Federer, $77.2 million, Tennis
- Stephen Curry, $76.9 million, Basketball
- Matt Ryan, $67.3 million, Football
- Matthew Stafford, $59.5 million, Football
