Yesterday we told you that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are preparing to use another (reportedly male) embryo. Of course, Kim has been told she cannot have more children for health reasons, and they welcomed their third child, Chicago, via a surrogate on January 16th. Well Kim says the report is not true. “We start filming season 16 next week, so if I think about it more and it’s gonna happen, you’ll definitely see it on the show. But as of now, no.” In other words, yes, but they’re saving it for the show
Shannen Doherty’s breast cancer has been in remission for a year, so she decided to get her breasts reconstructed this past May. But first, she had to gain some weight. That’s because instead of getting implants, she opted for something called “Stacked DIEP Flap” surgery. That’s where they use tissue from the skin and fat of the lower abdomen. And she just didn’t have enough. She says, quote, “I was required to gain weight to stretch my skin. I did. I stopped working out and ate. I gained the 7 pounds required.” After recovering from the surgery, Shannen was finally able to ease into working out again last month.
Ben Affleck has checked into rehab for the third time after his ex-wife Jennifer Garner staged an intervention. Garner left Ben’s home shaken and upset on Wednesday, before returning with an unidentified woman. Sources say Jennifer was not happy that she had to stage an intervention, especially such a public one, but she felt it was a “crisis” situation. After staging the initial intervention, Jennifer drove the three of them to a rehab facility; on the way, photographers captured photos of Affleck that showed an upset, tearful man who is clearly struggling. They stopped for take-out from Jack in the Box on the way. All of this comes after a week of drama, including his reported split from Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus and then his appearance with 22-year-old Playboy model Shauna Sexton on various dates. On Monday, he was photographed accepting a delivery of alcohol. (Seeing this picture reportedly prompted Garner to act).
If there’s a mash-up that NEEDS to become cool, it’s combining RAP with BOARD GAMING. And if it happens, DRAKE’s ready to dominate that weird, niche market. He performed in Toronto this week, and the Scotiabank Arena (formerly the ACC) Tweeted out photos of a custom “Monopoly” game they gave him . . . where the ‘Chance’ card pile is replaced by ‘God’s Plan,’ and the ‘Community Chest’ is swapped out for ‘Duffle Talk.’ The money even features his face, and the property cards call out locations significant to his career . . . such as Sotto Sotto, a restaurant he name-drops in his song “5AM in Toronto”.
Black-ish creator Kenya Barris and Yamara Taylor are rebooting the classic Bewitched for ABC. In the new version, Samantha is a black, single mom who meets and marries Darren, a white mortal who’s also pretty lazy. In the original, Elizabeth Montgomery starred opposite Dick York (Darren No. 1) and Dick Sargent (Darren No. 2) from 1964-1972.
A Charlie Angel’s reboot is in the works as well. Elizabeth Banks is actually directing it, which is kind of cool. It’s going to star Kristen Stewart, and she’s opened up about how the reboot will be a different take on the franchise. “The one I grew up with was so much fun, and you know, the re-imagining is so grounded and well intentioned and really shows the way women can work together now.”
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson were at Auburn University yesterday. Pete was there doing a Q&A with students and Ariana tagged along. If you’re wondering how Pete did, Ariana said he was “funny as f**k and brilliant today as always.” on her Insta stories. He was asked “What’s it liked being engaged to Ariana?” His answer, “It’s like what you would think it would be like but like a 100 times sicker. I’m a very, very happy boy who is very, very loved and I’m very lucky.” And then he said something about his.. organ.. that I’m not going to repeat here. Classic Pete.
