Say what? Fans are scratching their heads over a series of cryptic quotes Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe has been posting.
One recent Instagram Story post read: “If you’ve been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle to other living beings, then you’re a badass with a heart of an angel.”
No context. Uh … U OK? Three days prior, she posted in Stories: “Don’t ever feel bad for making a decision about your own life that upsets other people. You are not responsible for their happiness. You’re responsible for your own happiness. Anyone who wants you to live in misery for their happiness should not be in your life to begin with.”
Some say the messages are an oblique reference to drama with her boyfriend Tristan Thompson (who, followers of the Kardashians will recall, was videotaped cheating on her during the last weeks before she gave birth to their baby True), and who was recently photographed leaving a club with a few women. Later, reports emerged that he was getting touch-feely with a girl at the club. Neither Khloe nor Tristan have publicly addressed the rumors.
My source tells me Jennifer Garner is dating Arturo Del Puerto. He co-stars with Jennifer on the HBO series “Camping.” “They began as friends, but it turned into something more. It was clear to everyone on-set that the sparks were there.” Jennifer seemingly had a ton of fun shooting her new comedy series, too. I felt happy and light on-set. It’s good for you to laugh for 12 hours a day. They reportedly send each other love notes during the day. She can’t stop smiling when she talks about him. They spend a few evenings together every week.”
Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed that her late father Bruce Paltrow called her an “a**hole” when she started to get famous. “I was just believing my own hype, thinking that I was super awesome,” she admits to Marie Claire UK. “And he was like, ‘You’re getting weird—you’re acting like a d**k.'” The 46-year-old actress continues, “When you achieve the kind of fame that I did by the time I was 25 or 26, the world starts removing all your obstacles because you’re now a ‘special person.’ You don’t have to wait in line at a restaurant, and if a car doesn’t show up, someone else gives you theirs. There is nothing worse for the growth of a human being than not having obstacles and disappointments, and things go wrong. All of my greatest achievements have come out of failure.”
Jennifer Garner has filed papers to finalize her divorce from Ben Affleck by year’s end. According to documents, Jennifer has asked the judge in her divorce to have the case removed from the court system and put in the hands of a private judge to expedite the process. Jennifer initially filed for divorce in April 2017, noting she and Ben had been separated since June 2015. It’s believed the proceedings were delayed because of Ben’s alcoholism and return to rehab this year. Now that he’s on the men, Jennifer wants to formalize their separation. Jennifer and Ben share three daughters.
Ben Affleck is in outpatient care after completing a 40-day stay at a California rehab facility for alcohol addiction. “The support I have received from my family, colleagues and fans means more to me than I can say,” the Oscar-winner posted on social media Thursday. “It’s given me the strength and support to speak about my illness with others.” He added, “Battling any addiction is a lifelong and difficult struggle…As I’ve had to remind myself, if you have a problem, getting help is a sign of courage, not weakness or failure.”
Chris Evans announced on Thursday that he’ll no longer portray Captain America onscreen. “Officially wrapped on Avengers 4,” Evans tweeted. “It was an emotional day, to say the least. Playing this role over the last 8 years has been an honor. To everyone in front of the camera, behind the camera, and in the audience, thank you for the memories! Eternally grateful.” It’s unclear who, if anyone, might take Evans’ shield, although The Hollywood Reporter notes that characters currently portrayed by Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie in the Marvel universe have replaced Captain America in comic books. At any rate, Avengers 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 3.
Justin Timberlake has revealed that he enjoys being his wife Jessica Biel’s personal stylist. “A lot of times I’ll push her to try something, like, ‘You should own a pair of Jordans, just because,’” he tells People. “I do a lot of her shoe shopping; I love women’s shoes.” He also says he makes sure that his clothes match hers. “I make sure that I coordinate with my wife, for sure,” he says. “It’s like what they say about partner dancing: frame her. Be there to be the frame!” Other celebs who are known for picking out their wives’ outfits include Kanye West and Prince Harry.
As part of his off-season diet regimen, LeBron James has gone on a two-week cleanse and given up alcohol, gluten, dairy, and artificial sugars. When asked by reporters what’s left, he responded, “In life? Air.” He added that he feels great but, “It made me want wine more. It’s challenging, but I like challenges.” James also shared that it’s hard to resist when his kids make “sprinkled chocolate chip pancakes at 12 at night.”
There were massive protests in Washington yesterday over Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were there . . . and they both got arrested. Not for anything heinous, mind you. But because they and other protesters wouldn’t leave the Senate office building.
About 300 people were arrested, and it looks like they’ll all get hit with a $50 fine. Someone got video of a cop trying to move Amy along. He asks her if she wants to be arrested, and she says yes.
