Amy Schumer has revealed that she feels sorry for women who are ridiculously attractive. While chatting with Dax Shepard for his podcast she said (of hot women), “You can’t have a conversation. Everything’s gonna skew sexual and you’re gonna be treated differently. And honestly, I actually feel really bad for them.” Then Amy declared that she wouldn’t want to be better looking. “That’s the truth. Not an ounce,” she insisted.
Nicole Kidman has opened up about her marriage to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. She said, “Being married to Tom Cruise at 22 is something I’m always reluctant to talk about. I’m married now to the man who is my great love [Keith 0=”Urban”], and it almost feels disrespectful,” she tells New York magazine. “That said, I got married very young, but it definitely wasn’t power for me—it was protection. I married for love, but being married to an extremely powerful man kept me from being sexually harassed.” She continues, “I would work, but I was still very much cocooned. So when I came out of it at 32, 33, it’s almost like I had to grow up.”
Tara Reid was booted from a Delta flight before takeoff on Monday for causing a “disturbance.” Tara became upset about the location of her seat on the plane, which was headed from Los Angeles to New York City. She was also angry that she didn’t get a pillow. Video shows Tara clutching her small dog and quietly getting up to leave the plane after being spoken to by the flight crew. A Delta spokesperson says the flight left without Tara after a short delay. The actress boarded another flight later that day.
Victoria Beckham has revealed that seeing Elton John perform in Las Vegas made her realize that she didn’t have it in her to be a musician. “I was with Elton John this weekend and I told him, ‘You’re the reason why I stopped the Spice Girls,'” Beckham says in the November issue of Vogue Australia. “…I remember sitting there very near to the front and looking at him singing those songs he’d sung time after time, year after year, and his passion and his enjoyment was incredible, even after all that time.” She continues, “I always wanted to do fashion, so I was lucky that music was never my main passion. For the other girls it was… For me, there was always something else I wanted to do. Plan B, phase two.”
It’s happy news for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry this week with the announcement of their pregnancy, but not so happy for the British taxpayers. As it turns out this baby is going to cost them $2 million.
Twenty specialists are being hired to help deliver the baby. The doctors and medical staffers are on call 24 hours a day. Meghan will deliver her child in a $9,750 a night hospital suite. A source says; “She will have a huge team to make sure that all the bases are covered should anything go wrong. There will be a team of people behind each speciality and everyone has been vetted in advance and sworn to secrecy.”
So what is this baby going to be called? Top picks per the royal bookies are Prince James for a boy and Princess Victoria for a girl.
The baby’s current line to the throne is 7th. Here’s the order: 1) Prince Charles, 2) Prince William, 3) Prince George, 4) Princess Charlotte, 5) Prince Louis, and 6) Prince Harry. This would make the royal tot seventh in line to the throne.
Not sure if you heard this, but Meghan and Harry let the Palace know of her pregnancy on Friday, the day of Princess Eugenie’s wedding. Some on social media question the timing and opine that they should have let Eugenie “bask in the spotlight.”
Ariana Grande has posted on her social media for the first time since news broke that she and her fiancé Pete Davidson had ended their engagement and are going their separate ways.
The 25-year-old posted a script page from the upcoming special, A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway. Ariana is set to perform on the special, which tapes today. It seems this post confirms that Ariana will be at the taping and will not cancel, despite the breakup.
The post comes in the wake of a few show cancellations, as Grande heals emotionally after a draining year. She was expected to appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in September, before pulling out with Kanye West as the replacement. Over the weekend, she canceled her performance at a cancer benefit just one day before news broke of her split with Davidson.
During his Monday meeting with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, Kanye West expressed an interest in turning the African nation into Jurassic Park. “We’re not here to take a photograph and look like we’re doing something positive. I’m here to be here and work with you,” he declared. “This is going to be like Jurassic Park. Disney World.” The rapper went on to praise the country for its wildlife. “When I saw the safari, I was thinking this is how all zoos should be.” Page Six reports that Kanye is most likely going to extend his trip in Uganda after discussing tourism with Museveni.
On Monday, Uganda announced that Kanye West had engaged in “fruitful discussions” with President Yoweri Museveni, and that the rapper gave the African county’s leader a pair of sneakers (presumably Yeezys). The AP reports that West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, have been vacationing in a national park in Uganda, where West is believed to be “recording music in a tent.” Last week, West participated in a high-level lunchtime discussion at the White House with President Trump, flanked by another distinguished statesman, Kid Rock.
A “Golden Girls” cereal has finally hit the market . . . just a little over 26 years since the show went off the air. And no, it’s actually not one of those terrible high fiber / bran ones.
It was put out by Funko, the company that makes those anime-style, pop culture dolls with the big heads.
It’s a Target exclusive, and it’s currently being rolled out at various locations.
The box features the Funko-versions of all the four characters . . . and the cereal itself is “multigrain,” and it looks a little like ALL-BLUE APPLE JACKS. It’s $8, which is steep . . . but each box comes with a collectible toy.
The name of the cereal is actually ‘Funko’s,’ and they’ve produced a whole line of these throw-back character cereals, some of which are already out. Others include Gollum from “Lord of the Rings”, Mega Man, Jason Voorhees from “Friday the 13th”, and Freddy Krueger from “A Nightmare on Elm Street”.
