Cardi B was the biggest winner at the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which aired last night. Cardi took home a total of four awards, including MVP of the Year.
Prince Harry adorably gushed over his bride Meghan Markle and their upcoming baby-to-be in his first public comments about her pregnancy. “Thank you for the incredibly warm welcome and the chance to meet so many Aussies from all walks of life,” the 34-year-old royal gushed Tuesday during an address at the Admiralty House in Sydney, Australia. “We also genuinely couldn’t think of a better place to announce the, er, upcoming baby.” He then suggested they don’t yet know the gender by adding, “Whether it’s a boy or a girl.” From what I hear Meghan is, “just shy of her 15-week mark” and “is due on or around May 2”–which happens to be Princess Charlotte’s birthday.
In other baby news, Kate Middleton’s sister, Pippa and her husband James welcomed a baby boy on Monday at 1:58 p.m., local time, weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. That makes Kate an aunt for the first time.
Ariana Grande took to Instagram last night to share a message that appeared to address her recent breakup from fiance Pete Davidson. She wrote, “Time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. It’s hard not to bump [into] news and stuff that I’m not tryna to see right now.” She continued, “It’s very sad and we’re all trying very hard to keep going. Love you. And thank you for being here always.” Ariana deleted the note from her Instagram stories shortly after posting it.
Who’s getting what in the Ariana Grande-Pete Davidson breakup? From what I hear Ariana has already given her $93,000 diamond engagement ring back to Peter after the two split this past weekend. As for the teacup pig, Piggy Smallz, Ariana is keeping him.
Pete Davidson has canceled the comedy gig he had scheduled for Wednesday at Temple University in Philadelphia. He cited “personal reasons” for his absence.
Roseanne Barr lashed out on Twitter after her character was killed off in an accidental opioid overdose on last night’s episode of The Conners. “I AIN’T DEAD, B**CHES!!!” she wrote. The comedian and her spiritual teacher Rabbi Shmuley Boteach also released a longer statement about the onscreen death. Here’s part of it: “While we wish the very best for the cast and production crew of The Conners, all of whom are deeply dedicated to their craft and were Roseanne’s cherished colleagues, we regret that ABC chose to cancel Roseanne by killing off the Roseanne Conner character. That it was done through an opioid overdose lent an unnecessary grim and morbid dimension to an otherwise happy family show.”
Meanwhile, Roseanne says she’s no longer in touch with anyone on the show . . . and that she’s basically just doing NOTHING now. She says she’s spending a lot of time “getting her pictures and files in order,” “waiting in lines,” going out for ice cream with her mom, and sleeping 17 hours a day.
Bella Hadid took to Instagram yesterday to thank The Weeknd for making her 22nd birthday so special. The model shared several intimate photos from her birthday bash, including some of her embracing The Weeknd, and wrote, “I know I’m a lil late but I’m still in shock thinking about my birthday this year. I’ve never felt so much love & happiness. Thank u to my baby, my beautiful family and friends for making this surprise so special. This was the best day (EVER)… thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. I feel so lucky, I can’t believe it.” Hadid celebrated her birthday on October 9 alongside The Weeknd, her family and friends like Kendall Jenner.
On yesterday’s episode of Ellen, Keira Knightley revealed that her 3-year-old daughter Edie isn’t allowed to watch Cinderella or The Little Mermaid. Keira told Ellen, “Cinderella, banned because she waits around for a rich guy to rescue her. Don’t. Rescue yourself, obviously. And this is the one that I’m quite annoyed about because I really like the film, but… Little Mermaid. I mean, the songs are great, but do not give your voice up for a man. Hello!” Keira went on to say that her daughter is definitely allowed to watch Finding Dory (which stars Ellen DeGeneres), Frozen and Moana.
Are Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott married? A video Kylie recently posted on Instagram has people wondering.
It’s just a brief clip of some flowers Travis sent her, but the caption says, quote, “Just because flowers are the best kind. Thank u hubby.”
Someone mentioned in the comments that Travis has been known to refer to Kylie as “wifey”, too. Obviously, these could just be nicknames. We won’t know for sure until one of them comments.
Married or not, they do already have a child together. Their daughter Stormi was born on February 1st.
Speaking of Stormi’s… Yesterday, President Trump hit up Twitter to gloat about Stormy Daniels’ defamation case against him being thrown out of court. He said, “Now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas.”
But Stormy clapped back with a few insults of her own writing, “In addition to his . . . umm . . . shortcomings, he has demonstrated his incompetence, hatred of women and lack of self-control on Twitter AGAIN! And perhaps a penchant for bestiality. Game on, Tiny.”
Stormy’s lawyer, Michael Avenatti, got in on the action writing, “You are a disgusting misogynist and an embarrassment to the United States.
“Bring everything you have, because we are going to demonstrate to the world what a complete shyster and liar you are. How many other women did you cheat on your wife with while you had a baby at home?”
After some nagging from her daughters, Demi Moore is finally on Instagram! And the 55-year-old made her debut in a pretty epic way. Demi’s first post on the social media site — she’s using the name @moore2d — came a few hours after she attended Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding on Friday. (For those wondering, Demi is friends with the bride’s mother, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York — who’s perhaps better known as the original “Fergie”.) In her first post, she gushes about her Stella McCartney dress and accessories, and gives a shout-out to her three daughters, Scout, Rumer and Tallulah.
