Madonna is looking to hire a private chef to work in her London, Lisbon, and New York City properties, whom she’ll pay between $110,000 to $140,000 a year.
Madonna has posted a job advertisement on the website Talent Private Staff – which offers jobs for people looking to work as private household staff members – for a private chef to work in her London, Lisbon, and New York City properties. The job description states that she would like all her meals to follow the “basic rules” of kosher cooking. The advertisement reads in part: “Top Chef with existing Private Household experience required, for VVIP client in Mayfair. This is a London based position, with a Chef in place at US residences (however, you must be willing to travel to the US when required). “To be suitable for this role, you must have knowledge of kosher cooking. The Principal does not run a kosher kitchen (separate equipment for meat/dairy etc), but you must be familiar with all the basic rules (no dairy and meat served together, no pork, fish must have fins and scales- no swordfish, shellfish etc.)” The successful applicant must be able to keep their meals “healthy and simple,” as well as making them family friendly, in order to cater to Madonna’s brood – Lourdes, 22, Rocco, 18, David, 13, Mercy James, 12, and twins Stella and Esther, six. Madonna’s lucky new chef will start their new position in late October or early November.
Meghan Markle’s solo outing to a local market in Fiji was cut short yesterday over the Kensington Palace called “crowd control concerns.” Meghan, of course, recently announced her pregnancy and some are speculating that she may be feeling overwhelmed on her 16-day trip abroad. Before being whisked away, she gave a speech that addressed concerns over access to education for all. Meghan shared a message from her own experience saying, “It was through scholarships, financial aid programs and work-study where my earnings from a job on campus went directly towards my tuition that I was able to attend university.”
Royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah says she thinks Meghan may be feeling surprised at how demanding each engagement is. No kidding, I’m getting tired following along on Instagram!
Do you have a screwed up sleep schedule? You’re not alone. Here are some celebs who have strange routines:
Jennifer Aniston starts her day at 4:30 a.m. to drink hot water with lemon, meditate and workout.
In 2007, Mariah Carey said she needs 15 hours of sleep the night before a performance.
Martha Stewart has said that she only get 4 hours of sleep a night.
We all know that Mark Wahlberg goes to bed at 7:30pm so he can wake up at 2:30 a.m. to get fit.
Anna Wintour religiously goes to bed at 10:15 p.m. every night and wakes up at 5 a.m. to play tennis before she heads to the Vogue office.
Oprah says, “I function very well on five and a half hours of sleep.” She added that she wakes up “between 7:16 and 7:23 a.m., like clockwork. If I make it to 7:23, it’s like, ‘Wooo!’ I don’t use alarm clocks. They make me agitated.”
Shawn Mendes loves country music. “I Want Crazy” by Hunter Hayes’ is not just his fave country song, but one of his three favourite songs of all time.
He also says Zac Brown Band’s ‘Colder Weather’ just breaks his heart every time he hears it.
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are doing a Christmas special. It’s going to be called “A Legendary Christmas with John and Chrissy” and it will air on Wednesday, November 28th on NBC.
Pete Davidson is moving on from his breakup with Ariana Grande by keeping busy with the boys. Pete was spotted this week having a guys night out with bud Machine Gun Kelly. The long-time friends met up at Nobu in Malibu, California, for a quiet meal.
Meanwhile Pete has canceled his second scheduled appearance since he and Ariana Grande called off their engagement citing “personal reasons.”
Kanye West wants to film his own version of Celebrity Apprentice. My source says, “Kanye wants Donald’s blessing to film a new version of The Celebrity Apprentice. Kanye thinks now is the right time for the competition show to return with him stepping into the big shoes left by The President. Although Trump doesn’t own the rights to the show and does not technically have any say in who can and cannot replace him as the host, having the President on your side cannot hurt. Kanye has been soft-pitching the idea of a black version of Celebrity Apprentice to several networks and there is a lot of interest!”
There’s a reason “MMMBOP” has been with us for more than 20 years. It’s deep. Deeper than you ever realized. Zac Hanson says, “MMMBop as a word, it represents time. It represents the fact that time passes very quickly.
“And so in a story about reaching for what’s important and kind of driving towards the impossible dream, MMMBop is telling you go now, go now, go now, because in a moment, in an MMMBop, life will be over and have passed you by.”
Now don’t you feel bad for making fun of it all these years? I sure do.
