Aaron Carter has apparently been reminiscing about his LEGACY recently . . . and he wants us to give him some love for paving the way for Justin Bieber.
One of Aaron’s Twitter followers recently asked him why he never achieved the success that Justin had, and Aaron was put off by the question.
He said, “Listen . . . I’ve been in this industry before he was born. I’ve had harder times and always bounce back. No I’m not Justin Bieber, I’m Aaron Carter.” He continued saying, “I’m also in construction. I paved the way. These kids have NEVER paid me homage.”
Ridiculous for Aaron Carter to suggest that he’s the FIRST teen pop idol? Absolutely! I mean Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and the Hansons, just to name a few.
By the way, Aaron also announced that he and his girlfriend Lina Valentina are going to get married and that they’re expecting a kid. They’ve only been dating for a few months.
Hugh Jackman’s wife, Deborra-lee Furness is 12 years older than him . . . he’s 50, she’ll be 63 next week. They’ve been married since 1996.
And even though it’s kind of age-ist, people have been questioning for YEARS why he’s with her, when he could basically have any woman he wants.
Well, Hugh picked up an award Monday at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and in his acceptance speech, he made it pretty clear how he feels about her.
He said, “You believed in me when I couldn’t. You’ve loved me with a passion and a depth that I didn’t even know existed, and I don’t think I felt that I deserved.
“You have pushed and encouraged me when I was scared to venture out. You have smiled me into smiling. You have sung me into singing. You have loved me into loving and like everything I do in my life, I share this with you. I love you.”
Ariana Grande has only released a lyric video for her No. 1 smash, “thank u, next” so far, but she promises that another one is coming. Ariana tweeted a message to fans thanking them for making “than u, next” platinum,” and adding a promise that they will get a real-deal video.
Meanwhile, fans keep asking Ariana to release her new album. To one plea, she responded, “i love u and i’m working on it she’s on [her] way.” Fans are also asking Ariana to release another new song from the project, and she responded, “i’m not dropping another song yet i have seven hundred out at once stream thank u next, breathin and god is a woman to celebrate.”
Drew Barrymore will go down in history as one of the most famous child actors of all time. But that fame came with serious pitfalls.
Drew was smoking cigarettes by age 9, drinking by 11, smoking pot by 12, and snorting coke by the age of 13. So it’s not surprising that she’s dead-set against her own daughters following in her footsteps.
Olive is 6, and Frankie is 4 . . . and Drew says, “I’m not going to let them be kid actors. That’s so not their journey . . . Can you imagine me being [a] mom [who 0=”is”] pushing her kids out there? That’s not going to happen.”
But she adds, “If they want to be actors [later] in life, I would be so supportive of it.”
Shawn Mendes admits that he gets nervous hitting the stage with Taylor Swift…because she’s Taylor Swift. He said his face gets red every time. When he told Taylor about it she asked WHY and he said, he was afraid of messing up. Taylor told him‘Everybody in the audience is there to have fun and support you. Nobody is there to judge.'” Shawn says Taylor helped him see that being a performer isn’t about being perfect–but is about enjoying the ride. And it’s true! If the person on stage is having fun, the audience will too!
From what I hear, Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson and their daughter True are spending Thanksgiving together as a family in Cleveland. These two have been on and off, on and off… but it seems they are really fighting the good fight to make it work.
Bindi Irwin has won a Guinness World Records title for being the most-followed TV conservationist on Instagram. The 20-year-old daughter of the late Steve Irwin – who passed away in 2006 when he was stung by a stingray while filming a documentary – was awarded the honor over the weekend for amassing 1.9 million Instagram followers, making her the most-followed TV conservationist and naturalist on the photo sharing app. Yes, they really have a category for that.
