Luke Bryan has pushed back his Proud to Be Right Here Tour to 2021 due to COVID-19. The new announcement comes after he initially said in April that the tour would start on July 10 of this year. Another country trio, Lady Antebellum, changed its name to Lady A after dropping a term that, like Dixie, is associated with slavery and the Civil War.
Vince Carter has announced his retirement from the NBA after a league-record 22 seasons. He most recently played for the Atlanta Hawks, but is best-known for his early-career exploits with the Toronto Raptors, where he was named Rookie of the Year way back in 1999. Disney is changing the name of their Splash Mountain ride because it is based on a racist movie called ”The Song of the South.” The ride is going to be overhauled and themed after the 2009 animated movie ”The Princess and the Frog.”
