Nominations for the 2020 CMA Awards were announced, with Luke Combs and Miranda Lambert racking up a slew of nods. Both are up for Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Single of the Year, and Male/Female Vocalist of the Year. Maren Morris also walked away with five nods. While a date for 54th annual CMAs has yet to be revealed, it typically takes place in Nashville in early November.

Ed Sheeran and wife Cherry Seaborn have welcomed their first child, a girl named Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran. “Last week, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter,” Ed wrote on Instagram. “We are completely in love.” He added, “Mum and baby are doing amazing… We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time.”
Channing Tatum has just written his first children’s book, The One and Only Sparkella. He wrote the book after “accidentally locking myself in my 7-year-old daughter’s room and finding my inner child.” The book is dedicated to daughter Everly, who he calls “the most brilliant magical being that I have ever known.” The One and Only Sparkella arrives May 4, 2021.

Eddy Grant filed suit for copyright infringement against the Trump campaign on Tuesday, and is asking for a trial by jury and monetary damages, after the campaign used “Electric Avenue” in a political ad without permission.

Lady Gaga teamed Valentino Beauty fragrances for a new perfume called Voce Viva. According to Allure, the scent features bergamot, orange blossom, gardenia, vanilla, sandalwood and moss. Allure calls it “the chameleon of fragrances,” while Valentino says it “celebrates every women’s voice.”
