Britney Spears’ conservatorship took an unexpected turn this week when she claimed she wants to keep the guardianship going. Brit also wants to nominate a conservator herself, referring to the conservatorship in legal docs as a “voluntary” arrangement. She wants a company called Bessemer Trust to hold power of attorney over her career and medical decisions.

The 2020 CMA Awards will take place Wednesday, November 11, without an in-person audience because of the coronavirus pandemic. There’s still no venue, host or performers announced for this year’s event, but it’ll broadcast live on ABC starting at 8 p.m.

Filming on Robert Pattinson’s new Batman movie has been halted because a crew member has tested positive for the coronavirus. The shutdown is going to cost Warner Brothers thousands of dollars and may delay the release of the movie. The film’s budget is already over $100 million. The NY Post says Robert Pattinson has tested positive for the coronavirus.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have finally moved into their new $13 million Los Angeles home.

DJ Khaled and Drake shared a new video for their collaborative single “Popstar”. It features a guest appearance from Justin Bieber.The clip starts with Khaled harassing Drake to make the video.  A perturbed Drake then calls in a favor from Bieber, asking him to appear in the video in his place.

All seven of the Kpop supergroup BTS will be million-dollar shareholders in their music label, Big Hit after the label hits the Korean stock market. The Big Hit label is planning for its initial public offering (IPO). The BTS members have been given 68,385 shares each, which could be valued as high as $7.7 million American dollars for each young man.

BLANCO BROWN was involved in a head-on car crash near his home in Atlanta on Monday.  A statement from his label said that he “suffered significant injuries” and underwent a 12-hour surgery.  They were also expecting additional surgeries.

MAREN MORRIS’s song “The Bones” took 40 weeks to reach Number One on the “Billboard” Adult Contemporary chart.  That set a record for the longest climb to the top of that chart for a female artist.  Enya’s 2001 song “Only Time” reached the summit after 33 weeks.

JASON STATHAM and GUY RITCHIE are reuniting for a spy thriller called “Five Eyes”.
