Big changes are coming to the CMT Awards for 2022. Not only will the show move to a new network, it’ll take place 2 months earlier than usual. New broadcast home CBS has announced that the 2022 CMT Music Awards will take place on April 3. The fan-voted show has traditionally taken place in June.
