Everyone’s favorite couch potatoes are back, and they look a little worse for wear. With a new “Beavis and Butt-Head” movie on the way later this year, creator Mike Judge teased the film, sharing sketches of the updated, now-middle-aged cartoon characters. Mike promised a “brand new movie and more,” but joked that the characters “need some time to get back in shape.”

Adele is on an incredible chart run, but The Weeknd’s new release might be the one to stop it. “30” has topped the Billboard 200 chart for 6 consecutive weeks. The Weeknd’s “Dawn FM” drops today, and features collaborations with Jim Carrey, Quincy Jones, Lil Wayne and Tyler, the Creator.

Ed Sheeran is on track for a third non-consecutive week at #1 in the U.K. with “=”. All 5 of his studio albums have hit the top of that chart, which no other artist has accomplished.

The Beatles’ last-ever concert, on the rooftop of Apple Corps’ headquarters on Jan. 30, 1969, will debut as a 60-minute feature on January 30. Select IMAX theaters will host screenings with a Q&A with director Peter Jackson. “The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert,” will then run in theaters Feb. 11-13.

An old clip from “Sesame Street” went viral, showing Elmo getting mad at a rock, because he couldn’t have its cookie. Then Elmo asked if rocks can eat cookies, and THE ROCK replied that yes, they can. Then for some reason, he threatened Cookie Monster.

JAMES CORDEN is the third late-night host to test positive for COVID-19, so “The Late Late Show” will be off-air for a few days. He said he was fully vaccinated and boosted so he feels completely fine. First was JIMMY FALLON, then SETH MEYERS.

TAYLOR SWIFT has made history again. She passed SHANIA TWAIN as the female artist with the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart. Taylor’s albums have spent 99 weeks at the top, to Shania’s 97.

“Billboard’s” final numbers are in from last year, and MORGAN WALLEN’s “Dangerous: The Double Album” was THE most popular album of 2021. It was in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for 50 weeks, and is the first country release to finish as the year-end top album since Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” in 2009.

ARIANA DEBOSE from “West Side Story” and “Hamilton” will host the January 15th episode of “Saturday Night Live”, with musical guest RODDY RICCH.

It’s been three years since The Chainsmokers have released new music, but that’s about to change. They posted a short video clip that shows choppy, purple ocean waves and a hint of the new song. A purple banner is now being used across their social media platforms to promote it as well. They wrote: “Who’s ready? #TCS4” and followed it with a devil horn emoji.

Blink-182’s Travis Barker treated fans online with a punked up, rocked out, drum version of Adele’s “Easy On Me.” He basically turned up the volume to her song and played drums over it. Travis went so hard on his kit that one of the sticks actually snapped at the end of the video.

Nicolas Cage and Riko Shibata are expecting their first baby together. Nic is already father to 16-year-old Ka-El Coppola and 31-year-old Weston Coppola.

Kylie Jenner showed off her baby bump on Instagram Thursday and declared, “I am woman,” in the caption. The 24-year-old confirmed in September that she and her on-again-off-again boyfriend, Travis Scott, are expecting their second child together.
