“The Walking Dead” universe is getting even bigger. Lauren Cohan, who plays ‘Maggie’, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays ‘Negan’, will star in a spinoff series set in New York. “Isle of the Dead” will see Maggie and Negan traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland. It will debut on AMC next year.
Lady Gaga has announced new dates for her eagerly-anticipated “Chromatica Ball” summer tour. She has 15 shows booked in Europe, Canada and the US between July 17-Sept. 10. It’s to promote her “Chromatica” album, which was released in 2020, but she’s been unable to tour until now due to COVID.
Harry Styles will make his eagerly-awaited music comeback next month. He recently filmed a video for his new single on a giant bed outside Buckingham Palace, and now it’s being reported that in April, he’ll release his first new music since the 2019 album “Fine Line”.
ZZ Top will release the new album “Raw” on July 22. It consists of new “raw” versions of some of the band’s songs, and was recorded in connection with “That Little Ol’ Band From Texas”, ZZ Top’s 2019 Netflix documentary. It is dedicated, as the band puts it, “in righteous memory of Dusty Hill,” the group’s bassist-vocalist, who died in July at 72.
Alice in Chains has announced a co-headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin and special guests Bush this summer. The 30-city outing kicks off on August 10 in Burgettstown PA.
Hipgnosis has acquired rights in all 278 songs written by Leonard Cohen, including ‘Hallelujah’, the company said in a press release. No financial details have been released.
