Kane Brown announced Monday that his highly anticipated third album Different Man will be released on Sept. 9. He partnered with CMT to become the first artist to reveal his album cover on Paramount’s Times Square Billboard. Brown shared two album cover options with his fans last week on Instagram and asked them to choose their favorite. The image on the album is the one they chose Different Man.
A new drum documentary featuring what could be late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins’ final interview, is coming to theaters on October 28th. Justin Kreutzmann, son of Grateful Dead drummer Bill Keutzmann, directs ‘Let There Be Drums!’ which “examines the essential role drumming plays in great bands and how music passes from generation to generation.” Hawkins talks about his love of drums in the doc, as well as Ringo Starr, Stewart Copeland of The Police; Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann of The Grateful Dead; Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction; Chad Smith of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Matt Sorum of Guns n’ Roses.
Netflix has dropped a trailer for ‘Clusterf**k: Woodstock ’99’. The doc shows the chaos that was supposed to be a 30th-anniversary return to the original festival’s “peace, love, and music”. It shares “insider footage” and interviews from Korn’s Jonathan Davis, who says in the doc, “When you see it with your own eyes, it’s 10 times more shocking.” The doc comes out on August 3rd.
Drake’s European vacation is the stuff of fantasy. According to Page Six, Drake chartered a superyacht for $660,000. The 238-foot superyacht is named Coral Ocean. Overall, the yacht costs $50 million and includes a pool, full-service bar, sound system, and an incredible main bedroom.
Yeezy Gap will officially be making its way to physical stores. The Yeezy Gap Engineered By Balenciaga collection, will make its way to Times Square square in New York City from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m ET on Thursday (July 21). Then further select GAP stores in the U.S. in the coming months. For those that can’t make the Times Square launch, the collection is still available globally over at the official Yeezy Gap online store.
Plan to spend some time reading a new book by Michelle Obama in November. The book by the former first lady will be titled The Light We Carry. In the book’s intro, Obama writes, “I’ve learned it’s okay to recognize that self-worth comes wrapped in vulnerability, and that what we share as humans on this earth is the impulse to strive for better, always and no matter what.”
A horror movie is supposed to scare the people watching it, not the ones filming the action. According to TMZ, a cameraman fainted while shooting 50 Cent’s horror film Skill House. The very bloody scene made the cameraman pass out.
Rihanna has filed a trademark for Fenty Hair. The hair line will include an array of products, including hair bands, barrettes, picks, bows, clips, pins, ribbons, scrunchies, nets, hair extensions, wigs, and hair curlers.
