A four-part docuseries, “Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All”, will debut May 3rd on Disney+. According to a press release, “This series follows Ed after he learns of life-changing news and reveals his hardships and triumphs during the most challenging period of his life.”
The Weeknd has settled a copyright infringement lawsuit. In 2018, he was sued for allegedly copying elements of a song titled “Vibeking” for his hit “Call Out My Name.” The suit said the songs sounded “strikingly and/or substantially similar, if not identical.” Attorneys for the plaintiffs, Suniel Fox and Henry Strange, said they reached a settlement with The Weeknd for an undisclosed amount.
Halle Bailey’s Ariel doll from “The Little Mermaid” is set to be released soon! The new Barbie doll captures star, Halle Bailey’s, likeness even down to the mole above her eye. The Ariel doll will retail for $14.99 and has long red dreadlocks like Halle’s hair in the film and an ombre-mermaid tail with a glitter fin. According to Amazon, the doll will be released on April 23.
Julianne Hough is returning to the ballroom. The “Dancing With the Stars” vet is set to rejoin season 32 of the Disney+ competition series as a co-host following the departure of Tyra Banks. According to TMZ, the couple, Rene Hurtado and her groom Max, said “I do” from their floor seats at State Farm Stadium in Glandale, Arizona. The outlet reports that the two originally planned to use the show as a backdrop for their wedding reception but ultimately got hitched during the show itself.
