Jennifer Lopez is one badass momma in the trailer for “The Mother”, a Netflix original movie releasing Mother’s Day weekend, Friday, May 12, in which the actress-singer plays an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect the daughter she gave up years before.
“Superfan”, the new unscripted game show series where celebrities meet their biggest fans, is set to premiere on CBS on June 9. Participating stars include Kelsea Ballerini, Gloria Estefan, Little Big Town, LL COOL J, Pitbull, and Shania Twain. The hour-long episodes feature contestants going head-to-head in multiple rounds of play to prove they are their favorite artist’s most devoted supporter. The winner will receive a handpicked prize from that episode’s star.

BTS’ traveling exhibition “Proof” is headed to the US. It will be opening in Los Angeles this spring to commemorate the K-pop group’s 10th anniversary, following 2 sold-out stops in South Korea. A release says Proof will offer ARMY “an immersive visual journey…through photographs, videos, and experiential installations in a multi-room walkthrough experience.”
Jamie Foxx is in the hospital after suffering an unspecified medical complication. His daughter said he’s on his way to recovery thanks to quick action and great care. He’s been in Atlanta filming a movie called “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.

On Wednesday, April 12, Foo Fighters shared a cryptic message on social media that their fans understood to be an announcement of new music. In a message that was so faded in color that you could barely see, the Instagram post read: “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Fans flooded the comments section with excitement and among the first was Jack Black who responded back with “I think so.”
Deadline reports that the streaming platform HBO Max will be going by the moniker Max instead. The rebrand represents a merger between Warner Bros. Discovery and HBO Max. The platform is set to launch on May 23rd.
Fans can expect a new “Big Bang Theory” series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This will mark the second offshoot from the original show. Plot details are being kept under wraps for now.
