Break out your chic sunglasses and strappy sandals: Carrie Bradshaw is back this summer. Max’s “Sex and the City” revival “And Just Like That…” will return for Season 2 this June.
Another classic “Frasier” character will return for the upcoming Paramount+ revival. Peri Gilpin will reprise her role as radio show producer ‘Roz Doyle’. It’s unclear how Roz will fit into the story, since the revival sees Kelsey Grammer’s ‘Frasier Crane’ back in Boston, far from the Seattle setting of the original series.
Finger Eleven has released its first single in more than 7 years, ‘Together Right’. It will appear on the band’s upcoming “Greatest Hits” album, which will also feature a previously unreleased cover of Pink Floyd’s ‘Welcome to The Machine’, a long-time Finger Eleven concert favorite. The album drops June 16.
Metallica’s new album “72 Seasons” debuted at #2 on Billboard. Despite 146,000 sales and 16 million streams, the band’s 32-year streak of opening at #1 on the chart ended. Morgan Wallen’s “One Thing at a Time” held the rockers from the top spot with 166,000 equivalent units.
Amber Heard will officially return as Mera in the upcoming movie “Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom”. In a Warner Bros presentation at CinemaCom, the first-ever trailer for “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” was shown. In the trailer, Amber Heard’s Mera has a cameo in a battle scene.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will celebrate his birthday and Cinco De Mayo with the return of “Guac on The Rock”. Beginning May 1st, the weeklong event reimburses restaurant goers when they order guacamole with a cocktail made from Teremana tequila, The Rock’s very own tequila brand. Customers will be reimbursed up to $10. The Rock’s reimbursing up to a million bucks for the event.

“The Exorcist: Believer”, which is a direct sequel to the 1973 original, will be about TWO possessed girls. It hits theaters October 13th.

Beyonce has filed a petition in U.S. Tax Court contesting nearly $2.7 million in tax and penalties. According to Forbes, the April 17, 2023, petition asks the court to reconsider additional tax and penalties assessed by the IRS in a January 18th, 2023, Notice of Deficiency.
Halsey and boyfriend, Alev Aydin are going their separate ways but say they will co-parent their 21-month-old son. According to People, it’s an “amicable split.”
Selena Gomez has picked up another Emmy nomination. This time, for her HBO Max cooking show called “Selena + Chef” in the category of Outstanding Culinary Series. The singer-actress previously received a Primetime Emmy nod when “Only Murders in the Building” was up for best comedy series at last year’s awards.
In a resurfaced interview with The Daily Mail, the late “Dancing with the Stars” judge Len Goodman seemed to accurately predict when he would die. “My dad had the right idea. He loved gardening and he had a stroke while he was out in the garden. He was 79, so if I go the way of my dad, that’ll be next year,” he told the outlet in December of 2022. He passed away on Saturday, just three days before his 79th birthday.
“Red Table Talk”, along with the rest of Facebook Watch’s original programming, has been cancelled. The show’s production company Westbrook Studios, founded by Jada Pinkett-Smith and her husband Will Smith, is reportedly looking for a new distributor for the series.
