Nicki Minaj confirmed her first album in five years is finally on the way, revealing an October release date. “10/20/23 The Album,” she tweeted alongside emojis of a CD and a pink bow, sending the Barbz into a frenzy.

Mark Hamill is ready to be done with ‘Luke Skywalker’, the iconic role that made him a household name. In an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning”, the 71-year-old explained that he is grateful for all the happiness the character brought to fans, but he doesn’t “see any reason to” play Skywalker again.

Nelly Furtado says Drake encouraged her musical comeback. Ezra Miller may be back as ‘The Flash’ soon enough because a script for a would-be sequel has already been written. “The Flash 2” is on standby, courtesy of “Aquaman” screenwriter David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick — and now Warner is just waiting to green-light it — depending on how the first “Flash” film fares at the box office, upon its June 16 release.

Shakira and Lewis Hamilton were spotted together in Spain over the weekend.  The two fueled romance rumors by grabbing dinner together in Barcelona Sunday (June 4th) night.  The “Hips Don’t Lie” singer and the Formula 1 driver were first seen boating in Miami together last month.

The latest potential reboot is the feel-good “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”, which is in development on ABC with new co-hosts Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin. The pair, known for their “Home Edit” lifestyle brand, will “utilize their skill to help families decide what to keep and what to let go as they prepare for life in their updated homes while making their dream homes a reality.”

A new “Law & Order” spinoff is coming to Canada, Toronto-based network Citytv has announced. “Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent” will follow an elite squad of detectives who investigate high-profile crime and corruption in the city. It is slated to air next spring.

Not only is the band Semisonic on its first national tour in over 20 years, supporting Barenaked Ladies, but on Monday, they dropped 2 new songs: ‘Little Bit of Sun’, which has a Tom Petty feel to it, and ‘Grow Your Own’, about the joy of starting up a band.

Luke Combs’ already-massive 2023 World Tour calendar has grown even bigger, with the addition of 4 new stadium dates in July. He has added second nights to his scheduled stops in Tampa, Foxborough MA, and Philadelphia, plus an additional hometown show in Charlotte NC.

Carly Pearce officially announced her collab with Chris Stapleton ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore”. She started teasing her next single last week, with several blurred-out images of the cover art, but several fans correctly unpacked the tease to guess this was coming. The duet from the 2 Kentucky singers will drop June 16.

Pete Davidson left an angry voicemail for PETA, after they publicly dragged him for buying a dog instead of adopting.  He explained that he had to get a certain breed because he’s severely allergic, and he was buying it for his mother because her dog had just died.

Chris Hemsworth says it’s “super depressing” that directors like Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino have publicly slammed Marvel movies.  He adds, quote, “There goes two of my heroes I won’t work with.  I guess they’re not a fan of me.”

A Los Angeles federal judge tossed a copyright infringement case filed by a Florida reggae band against Dua Lipa and Warner Records over her hit single “Levitating.” US District Judge Sunshine Sykes said Artikal Sound System failed to argue that the writers of “Levitating” ever had access to the group’s 2017 song “Live Your Life,” though the judge did give the group an opportunity to file a new complaint.

BTS’ “Take Two” is already No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Trending Songs chart, despite not yet being available commercially. The forthcoming single is scheduled to drop on June 9th and will help commemorate the band’s 10th anniversary. Once released, the song will mark BTS’ second song of 2023, following “The Planet.”
