The cast for the “The Golden Bachelor” has been revealed . . . and all the eligible ladies are at least 60 years old. They also include Patty James, the 70-year-old mother of former “Bachelor” star Matt James.
It was a bad weekend for “Dune” fans, as Warner Bros. officially announced that it is delaying the release of “Dune: Part Two”. However, director Denis Villeneuve helped cushion the blow with some new comments about his plans for “Dune: Part Three”. He hopes to adapt the second book in the series to make the third movie in his trilogy. Of course, that hinges on the success of the second movie, which is now scheduled for release on March 15, 2024.
Blink-182’s guitarist Tom DeLonge has confirmed that the band’s new album is imminent, and the trio shared a teaser video encouraging fans to “stay tuned”. It’ll be their first album with Tom back in the lineup, after re-joining last October, following nearly 10 years apart from Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker.
Zach Bryan has announced his “Quittin Time Tour,” set for March to December. The arenas and stadiums tour will see him play multiple nights in the same arena on the tour stops where he isn’t headlining a stadium. Stadium shows include Las Vegas, Denver, Atlanta, Tampa, and Arlington.
Taylor Swift is breaking all kinds of records on her ‘Eras’ tour – but she couldn’t out-draw Metallica. Metallica’s ‘M72’ tour drew crowds of 78,000 for each of last weekend’s shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. That breaks the all-time SoFi attendance record of 70,000 – set by Taylor earlier this summer.
Blast from the past! “The Young and the Restless” alum Michael Damian will reprise his role as Danny Romalotti for an extended stay on the CBS soap, beginning on Thursday, September 28.
“Jurassic Park” will be the latest to get the animated Lego treatment in an upcoming special for Peacock. It’s called “Lego Jurassic Park: The Unofficial Retelling”, and it’ll be 22 minutes long. They say it’s coming out now in celebration of the movie’s 30th anniversary.
Selena Gomez got in hot water for posting a photo from the set of “Only Murders in the Building”, because people argued that she was violating the rules of the SAG-AFTRA strike, by “promoting” her work. So she deleted it. Then, she posted a photo, with the message, “Speak your mind, even if your voice shakes.”
Gabby Barrett and her husband Cade Foehner can’t keep their hands off each other. She’s already pregnant with their third child. Their son Augustine was born last October, and their daughter Baylah is two. They’re actually doing it right. If you’re going to raise a big family, best to do it while you’re young. Gabby is 23 and Cade is 27.
A mom brought her “Luke Combs-obsessed” four-year-old to Luke’s recent concert in Philadelphia . . . and she shared a wonderful video of the boy’s face as he’s watching the show. There’s one really good moment in the clip. It’s during “Fast Car” when the kid says, “Mommy. This is so crazy. I don’t know how all these people in the stadium know this song.”
Duran Duran announced a new album called “Danse Macabre”. It comes out October 27th and includes a covers of Billie Eilish and Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Doja Cat and a German metal band called Chaver both have new albums coming out on September 22nd, and they have essentially the same cover artwork. The front of Doja’s “Scarlet” features a painting of a pink and black spider with a drop of blood above it against a white background. Chaver’s album, “Of Gloom”, has the same spider along with a more circular drop of blood and their band name above it, on a ‘dustier’ white background. Both images were created by the artist Dusty Ray, who has a long relationship with Chaver and has created album covers for a variety of heavy bands.
