Dua Lipa’s new song “Houdini” is out now. But yesterday, she gave the first listen to . . . some random guy on the streets of London. In a bit filmed for BBC Radio 1, she flagged down some random, older guy named “Richard”, and let him hear it. Richard said he had HEARD OF Dua Lipa but didn’t know her music. But he did CLAIM to like “Houdini”: “Excellent. It would be impossible not to like it . . . Enjoyable, bouncy. Yeah, I’d dance along to that.”
Don’t expect to see Jack Nicholson pop up in a movie anytime soon. He’s enjoying retirement too much, says his longtime pal, Lou Adler. The music and film producer said that Jack, who is 86, recently turned down a role, because he’s simply “doing whatever he wants to do…He wants to be quiet, he wants to eat what he wants, he wants to live the life he wants.”

Now that the actor’s strike is over, Sony has announced that the third ‘Venom’ film, starring Tom Hardy, will premiere Friday, November 8th, 2024. Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor have joined the ‘Venom 3’ cast. Sony’s Spider-Man Universe will also release ‘Madame Web’ on February 16, 2024, and ‘Kraven The Hunter’ on August 30, 2024.
Kevin Bacon has officially sworn off bacon . . . and a few other foods. He says, quote, “I no longer eat goat and I no longer eat pig, because I have goats and I have pigs. My wife is like, ‘We can’t get any more animals, because you’re going to stop eating everything.’ I love animals, they are a joy to be around, and they’re very, very calming for me. Morgan Wallen was up for several awards at Wednesday’s CMAs and came up dry. But it sounds like he wanted to get ahead of any negativity because he posted this on Instagram Stories after the show: “Walked in tonight a winner, didn’t leave no different.”
More performers for the upcoming 2023 Latin GRAMMY Awards next week. Maluma, Rosalía, Shakira and Sebastián Yatra will take the stage, along with a special performance by David Guetta and Ozuna. Latin Grammys are set for next Thursday, November 16th in Seville, Spain.
“Deadpool 3” will begin production again before the U.S. Thanksgiving, now that the actors strike has ended. Ryan Reynolds shared on social media Thursday that fans can expect the film in the summer of 2024.
