As if Mariah Carey didn’t have enough going for her this time of year, she’s now a part of the Barbie world. Mattel has released a Mariah Carey Barbie doll in time for the holidays. The mini-Mariah features a sparkly red dress and heels with silver accessories.
Maren Morris appeared on “Watch What Happened Live with Andy Cohen” and revealed that she’s working on new music with Jack Antonoff. “He’s amazing,” she began. Jack is one of the co-producers of her track “Get the Hell Out of Here” off her EP “The Bridge”. “We’ve been working on and off all year. We’re working with other people, too, so I’m kind of in writing mode.”

A fourth “Creed” film is in development with star Michael B. Jordan set to direct, according to franchise producer Irwin Winkler. The third Creed movie clobbered the box office with its $58 million debut weekend, a record-setting sum for the “Rocky” boxing franchise.
“The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes” caught some fire at the box office. The “Hunger Games” prequel secured the top slot at the domestic box office over a busy weekend, with an estimated $45 million total. The animated sequel “Trolls Band Together” came second with an estimated $30 million, ahead of the slasher “Thanksgiving”, which carved out about $10 million.

In a video filmed at Toronto’s Roy Thomson Hall, he explained that although he still plans to “disappear” for up to 2 years, music is “coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced” since 2015, and “Scary Hours 3” was written and recorded in 5 days.

Tim Burton has finally wrapped filming the sequel to ‘Beetlejuice’ now that the writers’ and actors strikes have ended. The director was reportedly only two days away from finishing filming scenes when the actors’ strike began. Michael Keaton is back as Beetlejuice, with Winona Ryder also returning and Catherine O’Hara. It is tentatively set for a September 6 release.
The 2023 Billboard Music Awards were presented Sunday night in a totally digital event. Taylor Swift was the most-nominated artist going into the night and ended up winning in 10 of the 20 categories she was nominated in, including Top Artist. But she wasn’t the top winner overall. That was Morgan Wallen, who collected an impressive 10 trophies to lead the field for country artists. Drake dominated in rap with five wins while SZA racked up four wins in the R&B categories.
Kim Kardashian is expanding her acting career. Deadline reports that the Kardashians star is set to star in and produce a film titled “The 5th Wheel”, a comedy written by Paula Pell and Janine Brito. This move comes following her role on the latest season of “American Horror Story”—and after she voiced two “Paw Patrol” movies.
