Post Malone has been added to Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC! Posty will perform at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas. Also added is the K-pop group NewJeans performing from South Korea. They’re joining Green Day, Ludacris, Janelle Monáe, Ellie Goulding, Doechii, Loud Luxury x Two Friends with Bebe Rexha, Nile Rodgers and Chic, Paul Russell, Reneé Rapp with Coco Jones, and Thirty Seconds to Mars. Plus, Aqua will perform and revisit its hit 1997 single “Barbie Girl.”

The DC Movie Universe is ready for its reboot. The latest release, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, won the holiday box office battle, bringing in $40 million. The numbers are disappointing, considering it was a four-day holiday weekend and the film cost $205 million to produce.
People came out to see The Color Purple on Christmas Day. The holiday opening brought in $18 million domestically, making the movie the second-highest-grossing film to open on Christmas. Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and Wonka finished in second and third place in ticket Christmas Day ticket sales.
Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings was recently asked about Mayim Bialik exiting the syndicated version of the game show, leaving him as the sole host. Jennings told The Hollywood Reporter, “It took me off guard, because I loved working with my Mayim and I’m gonna miss her.”
Christmas might be over, but Mariah Carey is still winning. Her classic song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a second consecutive week and 14th week overall when you tally the last several holiday seasons.
The Powerball down in the US is slowly creeping up to super-high dollars. The jackpot has reached $685 million for Wednesday night’s drawing. The last Powerball grand prize was won on October 11th when someone in California hit for $1.765 billion. Powerball drawings are on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
