Adele announced on Instagram she will be postponing the March dates of her Las Vegas residency thanks to an unspecified illness. “Sadly, I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency,” she wrote. “I was sick at the end of the last leg and all the way through my break. I hadn’t quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I’m sick again, and unfortunately, it’s all taken a toll on my voice.”
IFPI, the organization that represents the recorded music industry worldwide, has announced the Miley Cyrus hit ‘Flowers’ has won the IFPI Global Single Award for 2023. That goes to the artist with the world’s best-selling single of the year across all digital formats. The song hit #1 hit simultaneously in 29 markets following its release in January 2023.

The University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital says many younger children could be damaging their hearing by blasting music through headphones and earbuds. Their poll found that two in three parents say their child between the ages of 5 and 12 regularly use listening devices. Half of those kids are between 5 and 8, which doctors say is a dangerous age to expose kids to loud noise for an extended period.
Sony Pictures is moving the release date of ‘Bad Boys 4’ up one week. The movie, starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, will now open in theatres on June 7. BTW, the first ‘Bad Boys’ movie opened in 1995.

Michael Fassbender will star in an espionage thriller series called “The Department”, to be directed by George Clooney. The series is based on the hit French spy show “The Bureau”, and Showtime has already given it a straight-to-series order.
CBS has renewed “The Young & The Restless” for another four seasons, which will take the daytime soap through the 2027-2028 season. The show premiered in 1973, making it CBS’ longest-running series.
