Lady Gaga bid farewell to her landmark Jazz & Piano concerts at Las Vegas’ Dolby Live Theater inside Park MGM on Saturday, July 6. Throughout the two-hour performance, Gaga hinted at an eventual return to Sin City, praised her jazz mentor, Tony Bennett, and gave a shout-out to her dad and boyfriend in attendance. Fans are guessing Gaga will be back when she releases her new album ‘LG7’.
The live-action adaptation of “Moana” is set to begin production in August. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced the news in an Instagram post. He will reprise his role as ‘Maui’, having played the demigod in Moana and its sequel. The live-action film will debut in theaters next summer.
A fan who attended an Eras Tour show has put her contact lenses up for sale for a “massive” amount. The used contact lenses “that have seen Taylor Swift” are being sold for just over $1,400 in what the UK press is calling “a joke at the expense of dedicated Swifties who will fork out cash on anything the star has been near.”
Pat Benatar and husband Neil Giraldo have updated fans on their musical “Invincible”, a retelling of Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet” using their music. The musical opened in 2022 in Beverly Hills, but after mixed reviews, Pat says they are “tearing it to shreds and starting over.” Neil added that the musical will be “different and the same at the same time.”
Oasis bad boy Noel Gallagher will undergo knee replacement surgery after being hit by arthritis. The 57-year-old was already forced to undergo a major hip operation in April. His estranged brother Liam also suffers from the condition.
Luke Combs has a son, Tex, who turned 2 last month, and the family celebrated with a birthday cake fit for a budding little farmer. It was decorated in John Deere green icing, and embellished with mini crop patches, ears of corn and a toy front end loader. Luke’s wife Nicole posted pics, showing the cake read “Happy Birthday Tex” in white letters.
The Beatles ‘LOVE by Cirque du Soleil’ closed its final curtain at The Mirage/Hard Rock Las Vegas on Sunday night. “The Beatles’ Love has taken its last bow,” Cirque du Soleil said in a statement. “After bringing together more than 11.8 million fans from around the world, this… masterpiece will forever be celebrated as one of the most exhilarating and colorful performances in Cirque’s history.”

Halle Berry and Glenn Close will join Kim Kardashian in producer Ryan Murphy’s upcoming Hulu legal drama “All’s Fair”. The series follows Kim as a successful divorce lawyer leading an all-female law firm in Los Angeles. Halle and Glenn and their character details are currently undisclosed, and all three women will serve as executive producers.
Original “Melrose Place” stars Daphne Zuniga, Laura Leighton, and Courtney Thorne-Smith have launched a rewatch podcast called “Still The Place” to coincide with the show’s 32nd anniversary. The podcast will feature episode dissections, behind-the-scenes stories, and interviews with original cast and crew. A reboot of the series is also in the works at CBS.
Disney is developing a sequel to the hit 2006 film “The Devil Wears Prada”, with original screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna in talks to pen the script. It’s unclear if stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt will return.
Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski’s film “IF” will begin streaming on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on July 9. The movie, which has grossed over $185 million worldwide, explores the concept of imaginary friends.
