Jamie Lee Curtis has revealed that “Freakier Friday” has almost finished filming. The sequel to Disney’s 2003 body swap comedy starring Jamie Lee and Lindsay Lohan as a mother-and-daughter duo is set for release next year. She also noted that she and Lindsay “fell right back” into playing mother and daughter.
The brown felt fedora worn by Harrison Ford in the second “Indiana Jones” movie sold for $630,000 at auction. The hat, featured in 1984’s “Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom”, was expected to fetch between $250,000 and $500,000, according to the film and TV memorabilia company Propstore’s online description.
“Inside Out 2” has confirmed a special opening for its home release. The Pixar blockbuster is set to arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 30. The home-viewing format will feature a range of additional features, including a brand-new cold open.

Keith Urban gave just a few hours’ notice before performing a free concert Friday night in the parking lot of a huge Athens AL gas station. Alicia Keys has her first certified solo Diamond song. “No One” was declared Diamond last week by the Recording Industry Association of America. Diamond status means a song has over 10 million units sold.
Over the weekend, Fat Joe hosted a dinner to celebrate his birthday. DJ Khaled came through bearing an expensive gift, a Rolex watch. Joe had mentioned that he had just given someone a Rolex earlier in the week, and he got one back for his birthday. As he looked at the box, Joe said, “Yo, this s**t is amazing. This s**t crazy! Look at it…nah this s**t different.”
Jack Harlow has become part owner of Louisville City FC. It’s unknown how much Jack has invested in his hometown soccer team. Louisville City FC said, “A…roar from the crowd came minutes ahead of kickoff when Louisville’s own Jack Harlow was unveiled as a member of the club’s ownership group.” Louisville is at the top of the table in the USL Championship League.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is officially, legally, Shiloh Jolie. She applied to drop the “Pitt” from her last name just three days after she turned 18 back in May, and her request has been granted. Shiloh isn’t the only one of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s kids to distance herself from their dad. Zahara went by just “Jolie” at a sorority event in November . . . and Vivienne did the same thing in the playbill for the Broadway production of “The Outsiders”, where she worked as a production assistant.
KISS bassist Gene Simmons was presented with the Key to the City of both Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda, New York. And in an additional honor for the legendary rock star, a segment of Main Street in Niagara Falls was also renamed “Gene Simmons Boulevard.” The ceremony took place at City Hall in Niagara Falls, with both Mayors on hand to bestow Gene.
Mary J. Blige wants to make it a fall to remember. The Rock N Roll Hall of Famer is releasing a new album. She told People, “It’s going to be out soon, probably the end of September, early October.” Mary has already released “Breathing” with Fabolous as the first single off the album.
