Pearl Jam has announced tour dates for 2025. Ten shows have been scheduled starting April 24 in Hollywood FL. They play 2 shows in each city, also hitting Atlanta, Nashville, and Raleigh, before wrapping up in Pittsburgh on May 16 and 18. Expect more dates to be announced later.
BTS member V’s new single, a revamped collab with the late Bing Crosby on the holiday classic ‘White Christmas’, dropped on Friday. Billboard said, “V has made his own mark on a timeless recording, honoring its spirit while bringing “White Christmas” to a new generation.”
After 42 years, Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain has announced his retirement from touring. Saturday’s show in Brazil was his final gig with the band. The 72-year-old, who suffered a stroke last year, indicated that he’ll “remain a part of the Iron Maiden family working on a variety of projects.” The band has a Netflix documentary coming in March to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The War and Treaty have announced their 4th album “Plus One” will arrive February 14. Tanya Trotter says, “It came from wanting to be the hope we believe people need right now, as well as the hope that we need for ourselves.” A new song from the project, ‘Carried Away’, was released with the announcement on Friday.

“Wicked” has been named the best movie of the year by National Board of Review The blockbuster Broadway adaptation’s director Jon M. Chu also scooped the best director award and the movie’s stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will be presented with the NBR Spotlight Award.

The surviving members of Soundgarden will reunite for a Seattle Children’s Hospital benefit show this Saturday at the 1100-capacity Showbox in Seattle WA. Billed as Nudedragons, the name Soundgarden reunited under in 2010, the December 14 show will feature Kim Thayil, Ben Shepherd, and Matt Cameron, with singer Shaina Shepherd.

Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” returns to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week after jumping up nine spots to reach No. 1. This is the festive classic’s 15th total week topping the singles chart, spread out over six holiday seasons. Christmas tunes dominate this week’s Billboard Hot 100, as Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” jumps up 13 places to No. 2, and Wham!’s “Last Christmas” leaps 15 spots to No. 3.
Warner Bros. made some changes to its film release schedule, moving “Final Destination: Bloodlines” to May 2025, replacing the J.J. Abrams-produced mystery thriller “Flowervale Street”. That movie will now arrive in March 2026. “Final Destination: Bloodlines” will now be the only major studio release on its date at the start of a busy summer.
