Sony’s “Kraven The Hunter” film is facing poor box office predictions, potentially marking the end of Sony’s struggle to establish an independent Marvel cinematic universe, which included “Morbius” and “Madame Web” and “Venom”.
CNN has officially confirmed that Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will return as co-hosts of “New Year’s Eve Live”. The show will feature performances by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson (live from his residency in Las Vegas), Sting, Meghan Trainor, Shania Twain, Diplo, Lil Jon, Mickey Guyton and Patti LaBelle. It will begin at 8pm on December 31, from New York City’s Times Square.
Miley Cyrus has bought the dress she wore while performing ‘Flowers’ at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Before it could be sold along with several other Bob Mackie designs via Julien’s Auctions, Miley managed to acquire the dress, with a charitable donation part of the deal. Miley says, “This performance was a pivotal moment in my life.”
Sabrina Carpenter has introduced a new scent to her line of signature fragrances: Me Espresso Eau de Parfum. It supposedly combines cocoa powder and espresso beans with jasmine and vanilla orchid, with scents of biscotti, caramel drizzle, amber and whipped cream. She wrote on IG: “This one has become my new staple and obsession.”
Guns N’ Roses has announced the 2025 “Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” tour. It starts May 23 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the band’s first performance in that country. The tour is currently scheduled to wrap on July 31 at Wacken Open Air festival in Germany. No North American dates, so far.
Shaboozey’s ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ has tied Morgan Wallen’s ‘Last Night’ for the longest reign atop the Hot Country Songs chart by a male this decade, at 25 weeks. Only Gabby Barrett’s ‘I Hope’ has been at #1 longer in the 2020s, with 27 weeks.
Keith Urban has announced he is hitting the road for the first time in 3 years. The “High and Alive World Tour” starts May 22 in Orange Beach AL and runs through October 17 in Nashville. Chase Matthew, Alana Springsteen, and Karley Scott Collins will open.
Smokey Robinson and Halle Bailey will co-host the NBC holiday special, “A Motown Christmas” featuring a star-studded lineup. The special will air tonight. The holiday special lineup also includes Ashanti, Andra Day, BeBe Winans, Jamie Foxx, JoJo, October London, mgk, Pentatonix, Jordin Sparks, and the cast of the Broadway show MJ The Musical.
“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest” is around the corner. The holiday tradition kicks off December 31 on ABC. The full star-studded lineup has been revealed! The West Coast Party Lineup includes Alanis Morissette with special guest Reneé Rapp, Dasha, Kesha, Natasha Bedingfield, and T-Pain. Performances from Times Square include TLC, Carrie Underwood, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Lenny Kravitz, Teddy Swims, and Thomas Rhett.
Halsey is developing a dark comedy series called “Bloodlust” for Amazon, serving as the creator, writer, and producer. Plot details are still secret, but Halsey has been working on the series for years. Horror auteur Ti West will direct.
“Yellowstone”’s latest episode saw a record audience of 12.1 million viewers, marking the season high. Titled “Counting Coup,” the episode featured a heartbreaking death and was up 6 percent from season to date performance. The finale airs this Sunday.
Kylie Kelce’s podcast “Not Gonna Lie” is a hit! Following the release of the first episode on December 5, her new podcast hit No. 1 on Spotify and Apple’s podcast charts dethroning Joe Rogan. “The Joe Rogan Experience” is now in the second spot. In the first episode, Kylie opened up about her family with her husband Jason Kelce, and how she’s embracing the newfound attention on her life, despite preferring to live out of the spotlight.
Gracie Abrams is hitting the road. After wrapping up the “Eras Tour” with Taylor Swift in Vancouver, Gracie announced “The Secret of Us Deluxe Tour”. It kicks off July 24, 2025, at TD Garden in Boston, Mass. Gracie will be headlining the largest venues of her career, including New York City’s Madison Square Garden, Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
After cutting his 2023 tour short due to an illness, Ringo Starr has announced a 2025 tour that kicks off in Nashville on January 14. His stop in the country music capital of the world comes just days after his country music album, ‘Look Up’, drops on January 10. The release features guest appearances by Alison Krauss and Billy Strings. His tour will include his All-Star Band, with members Steve Lukather of Toto and Men at Work’s Colin Hay.

James Earl Jones is honored at the beginning of the upcoming prequel, “Mufasa: The Lion King”. His speech from the 1994 “Lion King” is played over a black screen followed by a remembrance message. “Mufasa: The Lion King” hits theaters next Friday, the 20th.
A new “Meet The Parents” movie is in development, with original stars Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, and Blythe Danner in early talks to return. Screenwriter John Hamburg, who worked on the original and its sequels, is penning the script, while the director has not yet been announced.
Over 1,000 theaters worldwide will host sing-along screenings of the hit movie “Wicked” starting on Christmas Day, featuring lyrics projected on-screen for audience participation. The showings will also include an exclusive video introduction from stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.
Creed will have their arms wide open for you this summer – the band’s extended their ‘Summer of ’99’ tour with 23 new dates. This new leg starts on June 9 in Lexington, Kentucky with special guests 3 Doors Down, Daughtry, Mammoth WVH and Big Wreck opening on select dates.
